I’m one of those with high level of dental anxiety, afraid of any dental procedures and I’ve lost a lot of teeth already. The last time I visited a dentist was about 10 years ago. Finally, I summoned the courage to visit a dental clinic as the crowns of my upper two front teeth gave in. I searched, read reviews and called several clinics and ended up in the clinic of Dr. Fred Gabriana.Upon thorough inspection, the doctor found a lot of things that has to be done, the root canals and extractions made me griped in fear. I had 3 root canals done. All the teeth saved except for one, even those with no more prominent teeth, starting from the two upper front teeth upto the right end molars. Build-ups and dowel posts were constructed on 4 teeth where the porcelain bridge will be holding onto, gums trimmed, one hopeless tooth extracted. All-in-all, 12 porcelain veneers to totally reconstruct my whole upper teeth. It’s a great thing I found Dr. Fred Gabriana in Baguio City where I temporarily reside. With a lot of hesitation and fear, I dragged myself to his dental office in Porta Vaga. Dr. Gabriana himself attended to me, he alleviated my anxiety when I told him I have a dental phobia, he was very patient with me and my countless questions and concerns. He explained all the procedures that have to be done and gave me full assurance that everything will be just fine. He’s good at it and his knowledge, skills, vast experience and confidence is evident with his demeanor. He made me feel relaxed and he avoided making me feel any pain. Several visits in both his clinics at Porta Vaga and SM Baguio in more than 2 weeks, I survived my extreme anxiety, and my upper teeth were finally fixed.The clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art apparatuses, the décor is pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating at both clinics, we joked all the time which minimized my fear. Dr. Gabriana is an excellent and reassuring doctor who’s more into saving than extracting, even what I thought were totally hopeless, and the price is very reasonable, lower than most clinics in Manila or around Baguio City. Highly recommended. In fact, I’m in Mindanao right now and my lower bridge (which was done 7 years ago overseas) started to move, I can't trust anyone to do it so I have to fly to Manila and bus it to Baguio City just to have it fixed by Dr. Gabriana. read more
