Professional, honest and clearly explained examination and treatment from the start. Doctor Lockie and his staff were all very helpful throughout. My Hernia repair was done promptly and I am now back at work.

"I ended up having to have surgery to remove my gall bladder"

I suffered from severe gall bladder inflammation and took myself to Holy Spirit Northside Private Emergency. I was subsequently admitted to Holy Spirit Northside with a severe inflammation of my gall bladder. I was placed in Dr Will Braun's care. I ended up having to have surgery to remove my gall bladder. I was not able to see Dr Braun before surgery, which was some 12 hours after admission.I met Dr Braun immediately prior to surgery and we talked through my diagnosis, treatment options and risks, I felt comfortable to go ahead with the surgery.Dr Braun saw me this morning after my surgery last night, he told me what happened and answered my questions.I reckon he's a good surgeon and a good guy. I'd see him again if I needed surgery.

Gastric Sleeve or sleeve gastrectomy. I like the "Can do" attitude and patience Dr Bowden has when you're asking questions. He makes sure you don't get the cold shoulder and shown the door without you knowing exactly what you're in for. He gives you the realistic expectations and not false positives. There is no magic wand but this surgery can certainly help a great deal. I'd recommend Dr Bowden for sure.Lara was quite helpful and responsive also, thank you.

I am a 72-year-old man who has never had an internal operation before and had my first consultation with Dr Jordaan in relation to a hernia recently after a friend recommended him to me. Within minutes I knew that it had been excellent advice and I was in capable hands.He is a genuinely gentle and caring man with a professional and reassuring approach to his patients. His examination was methodical and very thorough and at the end, I walked out with a feeling of complete confidence that all will be well. My operation will be performed in a month's time and I am looking forward to expanding on this review after it has been completed.
