I am a current patient of Dr. Watson. I currently have a lap band and will be seeing the doctor Dec 5th to discuss changing from the band to a gastric sleeve. Because I have this past medical history with the doctor I prefer to remain with a surgeon I know and trust. Dr. Watson is thoroughly professional and he is easy to talk to. Naturally I would recommend him to anyone.

"I would recommend weight loss surgery to anyone who cannot lose weight on their own"

I had a band first. I lost the most weight with this until I found I couldn't eat solids any loner. This came out and a sleeve happened. Not much loss from that so I went to an omega loop bypass. Weight loss very slow as it's my 3rd surgery. If I was doing it now I would go straight to the bypass. I still have 10kg to lose but have lost 40kg. I keep my eye on the bigger picture and am grateful for how far I have come. I would recommend weight loss surgery to anyone who cannot lose weight on their own. It certainly is not easy nor is it a magic cure but it's worth it if you treat it right. I was heading down a long path of illness as I get older but now I have the ability to avoid that by working with my surgery, surgeon and dietician. I was recommended by a friend to this clinic. I was very impressed with Kevin. He calls a spade a spade. No sugar coating. You find out the benefits and risks associated with surgery. His surgical skills are exceptional. I have trusted him with my life (on several occasions!). If you want rainbows and unicorns this is not the place for you. If you want the truth with a world class surgeon Kevin is your man.

Dr Christine is knowledgeable and approachable. She is quick with responses via email and phone. She is considerate and helpful. Also very friendly. I was able to get an appointment quickly at a time and day that suited me.
