I had a brilliant experience with Dr. Ahmed Yousry in Cairo. I have lost 10kg so far in just under 4 months. Before visiting, he scheduled an online consultation to discuss my health, treatment goals, and psychological preparation for the gastric capsule procedure.On the day of the procedure, everything ran very smoothly. He was extremely professional and reassuring. The Allurion capsule insertion went well, and they provided me with all the necessary X-rays and documents. His colleagues were equally professional, and the hospital was pleasant.He advised me on appropriate pain management and symptom management medications. He was always available for calls and messages, checking in continuously over the first three days. Additionally, he arranged for me to speak with a nutritionist to guide me on managing my eating habits in the weeks following the procedure.So far, I am doing well with the gastric capsule and have had no complications. I’m a very nervous patient to begin with, but Dr. Ahmed Yousry made sure to guide me through the procedure step by step and answered all the questions I had.Upon arrival in Cairo before the operation, Dr. Ahmed Yousry and his team carried out a thorough examination to ensure everything was ready which, in my opinion, is excellent practice and truly shows they put the patient first. The day of surgery went smoothly and was excellent. All hospital staff, from the receptionist to management, showed the utmost professionalism and politeness.They also took very good care of my companion!
