Gastric Bypass

I am 10 days post bypass revision surgery and l cannot thank Dr. Ilmaur Kaur and his bariatrics team enough. I traveled on my own for the surgery and they took incredible care of me. I cannot believe how well l feel after surgery and traveling home was painless. My scars are tiny and even after 10 days almost invisible. I cannot recommend him highly enough he is at the top of his game as far as surgeons are concerned. Superb, from start to finish.

Gastric Sleeve

I contacted the surgery coordinator sometime around June 2017. I was able to arrange for two surgeries for my dad and myself. He had his surgery at the end of August and I had mine at the end of September. It was a great experience for both of us. The quality of care is outstanding. The doctor and the nursing team is great. I liked my hospital stay and was very appreciative of an amazing nursing care. I work in the healthcare and know the crucial role that nurse play in the patient's care. This is world class standard. There are a lot of parts of the process: initial consultation, travel and surgery arrangement, arrival, pre-surgical screening, surgery, post-surgical care and post-surgical screening which does not end after the departure. And each part was done smoothly, basically, we were dealing with a very competent group of people who know what they are doing. I am very grateful to Dr. Ilmar Kaur and his team for everything they had done for me and my father. I am in a great physical shape. My quality of life, as well as my health, is improving dramatically. I would highly recommend them. Thank you very much.

Revisional Bariatric Surgery

I recently had bariatric revision surgery in Tallinn, Estonia, organized through Bariatric Services. I chose this company to go with because of the speedy response to my initial inquiry and then the very professional and organized way in which everything was dealt with. Merle answered every question in detail in perfect English - explained what the different procedures might be and arranged for my mother to stay in the hotel while I was in Tallinn. The hotel had a supermarket a couple of minutes away and was only a few minutes walk from the Old Town for sightseeing. Merle met us at the airport as arranged and we were taken to the hotel for our overnight stay. The following morning we were picked up and taken to the hospital. The surgeon Ilmar Kaur was there to greet us and explain exactly what would happen and when. His English was extremely good as were one or two of the nurses so there was no problem in getting information at every point. I had a private room and with the exception of the endoscopy, all the various tests were carried out in that room. Once he had seen what surgery was required it was carried out in the late afternoon and Dr. Kaur telephoned my mother immediately afterward to let her know how things had gone. He came in to see me at least twice every day and I could not fault his manner or his expertise. Additionally, because I had the malabsorption surgery he explained that in the rare event that I did not lose the expected amount of weight he would perform further surgery for me at no extra charge. I was extremely happy with everything and am very grateful to Merle and Bariatric Services for arranging things for us so competently. I highly recommend them and would be happy to chat with anyone considering this service if they would like me to. Fantastic hospital, great staff, a brilliant surgeon and Merle was there to make sure everything ran smoothly for us.
