It was the best decision of my life to get a bariatric sleeve surgery I was operated and treated by Dr Atif iman shami on 5th of April 2016Under the weight of 103 kgs ..38 BMI ..age 23 ..height 5'7 My weight was big problems for me I was trying myself hard for it but I couldn't achieve my goals in many past year I got in 9 months I lost 31 kgs and now I'm 72 kgs I never thought of being able to loss this much weight. .. I will really thank my doctor he is the 1st bariatric surgeon in Pakistan that he introduced this surgery for over obes people like us as I'm still under this treatment and contact ... it's really a safe surgery I will recommend it to the people who are in trouble because of over weight. .. I was getting heavier day by day....studying medicine can take its toll on you. ..stress eating and binge eating was the norm of the day....I joined my medical college at a weightof 83 kgs but by the third year I was a staggering 120kilos...multiple attempts at weight loss failed and in 2016 I finally decided to have a bariatric procedure for weight loss...I was operated on by dr atif on March 14th 2016 and since then I have lost around 46 kilos....I am just 8 kilos short of my target weight...life couldn't be better...but it wasn't the surgery alone...it was the pre op preparation and the post op care and later the psychological and nutritional support that made my weight loss successful and healthy. ...and what makes dr atif stand out from other surgeons is his ability to respect the individuality of each of his patients and his inclination and motivation towards improving patient care even when he is at the pinnacle of his career.
