The Philippine Obesity Control Surgery Team, Inc. is composed of well-known advanced laparoscopic surgeons in the Philippines who have bonded together with a common mission of giving morbidly obese patients a better quality of life by giving them a life long control of their weight and associated medical illnesses through bariatric or obesity control or weight loss surgeries. This is the first team of its kind ever assembled in the history of Philippine Surgery, wherein patients with morbid or clinically severe obesity will be handled by all members of the team, rather than just one bariatric surgeon, from the time patient seeks consultation up to the time he/she is operated on and followed up. Each member of the team is highly qualified to perform the obesity surgery when called for. This allows therefore the team to give a more comprehensive and more safety oriented surgical care, since all of the morbidly obese patients are special and highly sensitive patients that would need the best in quality surgical care and decision making.
