I came from Canada to Derindere Hospital in Istanbul for a gastric sleeve surgery. I had it with Dr. Gürdal Oren. Everything went well, his whole team was great and they took really good care of me. Even our driver was extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Murat Şerbetçi for his professional, knowledgeable and friendly. All instructions and Brochures were in English because I don't speak Turkish language. They were very responsive to any and all of my needs and explained any questions I had very well. I spent a total of five days in Istanbul, three in the hospital and two in an amazing hotel. I have had no complications. If I had to choose a clinic all over again, I would definitely choose Derindere Hospital!

Commode environment and perfect staff. The assistants and doctors take care of everything and for any details. Dr Kaplan Baha Temizgönül is my hero it has changed my life. Calm and full of professionalism of them make me not worry about anything. Ehsan Moazzen is just superman. He never gets tired and is at any time available. The gastric sleeve surgery was excellent. The patient relation manager Mr. Murat Serbetci was really helpful and he gave us all the information we needed. The VIP services were excellent, when we arrived in Istanbul they picked us up from the airport. The rooms of the hospital are like a luxury hotel. You can find anything you need! All the staff is professional and they take care of every detail of your stay from the first moment. Mr. Murat Serbetci is taking care of his patients even after the surgery, he checks if everything is fine. Excellent service, best quality! If you don't want to have any bad surprises, Derindere Hospital is one of the best choices in Turkey.

Having a gastric sleeve operation is a very big step to take. Having the procedure performed abroad some would say is foolish. I can verify that I had the most professional experience in the Derindere Hospital. An experience that I’m sure equals or indeed exceeds what I’d get here in the UK. My Doctor (Dr Kaplan Baha Temizgonul) conducted my pre and post operation care with an immense amount of patience and compassion. As for the operation, it was carried out within facilities which can only be described as modern, clean and comfortable, also each department has up to date equipment. The nurses were very kind and caring. Dr Kaplan Baha Temizgonul has really thought of everything to make having this gastric sleeve operation as pleasant and as pain-free as possible. Together with his PA (who speaks fluent English), they arrange everything which you require from the moment you step of the plane until you get back on. I highly recommend this Doctor both for his professionalism and ethics. The price is beyond reasonable and knowing that I’ve invested the money towards my well being makes it worth every penny. Derindere Hospital provided full information and answered all my questions regarding the gastric sleeve. They also kept in touch with me in a very convenient manner. If I sent any question, they’d respond within fifteen minutes. Even though I was planning the surgery a month in advance, they took me seriously and treated all my concerns with respect and understanding. The surgery has completely changed my mindset about food. I chose this clinic blindly - I didn’t know anyone who’d been here or had the surgery. The friendly, honest staff made the whole process easier. Nobody accompanied me on the trip and I believe they took greater care of me because of this. After consulting the doctor, they gave me a small discount because it was winter, and therefore not high season. Before the gastric sleeve, I used to be a food addict and emotional eater. I’m still trying to recover and rebuild my relationship with food, but I can’t eat half as much as I did before. They put me on a special diet for three months and now I’m no longer addicted to these things. I got used to eating healthily and I’d like to share my experience with everyone considering this procedure. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I had my gastric sleeve at Derindere Hospital end of April and I am very happy with my results and with everything. The hospital is clean. I stayed alone in the room and the doctor Haci Omer Aycan was also very helpful. My coordinator Mohamed was helping me with everything. I would always choose Derindere Hospital.

I had my Gastric Sleeve on 26th April 2022 and I would like to thank Mohamed (Coordinator) for everything he did for us. He organized everything very well (transfer, hospital test before the operation, hospital stay, vitamins and medications, hotel, and transfer to the airport).Op.Dr. Haci Omer Aycan is a great doctor, very kind to his patients, caring, and supportive.
