I was a very unhealthy, unhappy man weighing 149.23 kg. At 46 years old I had my first heart attack. At 48 years old I was diagnosed with angina. My weight was killing me. In September 2022 the NHS turned me down for Surgery for the 4th time. I knew someone local who had been to Turkey and lost a huge amount of weight so I went to see him and I got the contact details. I sent a message via instagram to Dr Metin Karadeniz and Sezen, his co-ordinator got straight back to me via WhatsApp. She answered all my questions without hesitation, checking details with doctors about my heart issues and medication. We agreed to schedule surgery for the following week. I booked the flights and 5 days later they picked me up from Izmir airport. I was taken to a decent hotel for the first night and then they took me to the hospital the next morning. Sezen met me there and took me to see all the different doctors for every test you can imagine. Heart, lungs, x-ray, ultrasound, mental health: everything was checked. I felt well cared for and the level of professionalism was excellent. I met Dr Metin Karadeniz before the operation and we had a chat. I felt completely at ease. I went down early afternoon and woke up back in my private hospital room. I was walking a few hours later with very minimal pain. The staff came and checked on me regularly and gave me IV fluids. I spent the next three days in hospital, walking and following their post operative regime. When Dr Metin discharged me I went back to the hotel for a few days, enjoying walking around Ismir. I went for a checkup at his clinic with him and the nutritionist before returning home to England. It has now been 10 weeks since surgery and I have lost 30.39kg! I feel so much healthier, I no longer have sleep apnea, my cholesterol has come down from 6.7 to 3.5, my HbA1c is down to 33. My BMI was 46.94 and is now 35.8. I was a 48” waist and I’m now a 40”.This has been the best gift I have ever given myself. It has saved my life. If you are big/unhappy/struggling……. Don’t hesitate. It’s not a magic wand and the new lifestyle isn’t easy but it is life-changing. Thank you to the whole team.

Wow wow wow I use to suffer from sleep apnea and I was obese Sezen and Dr Metin were amazing I’m so glad I found themI also had a hernia which Dr. Metin fixed for me. All the staff were amazing. I got the gastric sleeve surgery.I was 115KG now I’m 80kg my sleep apnea is gone and it’s loads of energy thanks, guys ❤️

4 months ago I had a gastric sleeve operation and I lost 32 kg. Everything was very well organized - accommodation, hospital, the doctor was exceptional together with the staff. The staff who got involved in everything and was with me wholeheartedly. My only regret is that I did not do this operation much earlier. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Treated like a VIP from start to finish. I had my gastric sleeve in Feb 2023, and now in April 2024, I'm nearly 9 stone down. All thanks to Martin's clinic. They have been supportive from start to even now, in contact now keeping an eye on me. The hospital I stayed in was more like a hotel it was beautiful and clean. I brought a friend with me who was looked after like a VIP as well. I couldn't fault the clear information given to me, and the care given to me was 10/10.

First of all, I would like to say thank you so so much to this clinic and Doctor mostly none of it was possible without Sezen the consultant for the clinic helping me with everything possible. She is a warm wonderful person who will make your surgery so much less worrying, she couldn't have helped me more and we still stay in contact. Everything from arrival at Turkey the driver picking us up to all the Xrays, ultrasounds etc were done so sufficiently that I was having my surgery in no time.The doctor checks on you every day sometimes twice a day(wears a new watch each time haha). I cannot praise this clinic enough, I have passed on all details to some friends already. Once again, thank you.

Really recommend this place. Really have changed my life. The hospital and hotel are so clean they are a lot cleaner than the hospitals in England. Everything is explained perfectly before the surgery and after the surgery, you get plenty of pain relief and they are so helpful and Suzan is so so helpful she ordered my daughter food whenever she wanted. Cannot recommend this place enough thanks to every one of the nurses and the Sergent and everyone that helped me.

1 word amazing. Became friends with the beautiful Sezin over a period of 2 years due to covid I waited so long for my surgery. From start to finish Dr Metin Kernadiz and Sezin and his team were behind me 1 hundred percent checking in see how I was, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Explained everything from start to finish. Had every test done when I arrived. Came home with all my medication reports, leaflets, do's and dont's, telephone numbers. Only 1 regret I didn't do it years ago. 9 weeks post op 39lbs down. Can't thank you all enough 1 happy lady and a friend for life.
