I was very happy with my experience. The hospital was fantastic and modern and spotless, the nursing and cleaning staff lovely and the coordinators were so helpful and patient, particularly Serenay, Salih and dietician Beliz. Dr Huseiym Eken was a gentleman. They held my hand and made sure I was comfortable and kept in touch right through to my return home. My coordinator Serenay took me out on her day off and translated for me and waited on me all day. She was so kind and helpful. When I got home and had any queries or worries they were available on What's App and asked my questions to the surgeon and came back with a reply. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago. Before I left home I was very apprehensive but those feelings soon went. My coordinator was Oguzhan who was superb and always answered my questions immediately.I was met at the airport and was driven in a nice Mercedes taxi van.We arrived at the hospital which was immaculate and had fabulous staff. I had tests in the evening and morning before having my surgery at 10 am. My doctor was a great guy and will see you 3 times in total.When I awakened after the surgery the pain is intense due to the gas the put inside you for the surgery but this soon goes away. The key is walking to alleviate the pain. I am so glad I chose Dr. Volkan and in 3 weeks I have lost 2.5 stone and I am wearing clothes that haven't fitted me in years. read more
