I had gastric sleeve with Dr. Osman Uyar this week. Melih, my translator and representative picked me up at the airport personally. He took great care of me throughout the week and made sure I was always receiving what I needed and was comfortable. My surgery was well explained and went without issue.Aftercare was 24/7. Nurses don't speak much English but are well trained and very friendly. Google translate made communication easy.My private suite was spacious, two rooms, with own bathroom/toilet. I always had privacy. It was cleaned everyday as well, including bedding changes.Upon returning home, I received everything needed for my post op liquid diet as well as vitamins and some medications. In the beginning I was very nervous about traveling alone from the Netherlands for surgery but Mel, and the staff of Grandmedical put me at ease.
