Professor Senapati provides first class care. Bariatric surgery is wonderful and life-changing. The nursing, nutrition and physio staff at Alexandra hospital are first class. The aftercare is first class as well. It's very good value.
Dear Mr Sabine, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback, this is greatly appreciated. Kindest Regards Professor Senapati
Great experience with Siba Senapati and his team at the Alexandra, Cheadle. Everything was explained thoroughly in the initial consultation, all the pre-op appointments were arranged for the same day to avoid multiple trips, the surgery itself went well and I can’t fault the aftercare. I’m also really happy with my results so far, losing just under 3 stone in 3 months. All the staff were friendly. The hospital was clean, the only downside is the rooms are due to a refurbishment.
I have just had a gastric bypass. I only had the procedure done yesterday but I'm home now. The treatment was absolutely brilliant.
glad to know you are doing well
I had my surgery 5 months ago. I have lost 6 st in weight and feel amazing. It has changed my life and my family's life. I have not needed to use crutches since before Christmas and my mental health has improved 10 fold. My only regret is that I didn't have this surgery sooner. The Alex, in Cheshire, is a fabulous hospital and couldn't do enough for me. They even gave my children ice cream when they came to visit me. As for 'The Prof' Prof. Senapati. He is one of the top surgeons in his field and what he doesn't know about bariatric surgery, doesn't need knowing. He was warm, friendly, put me at ease immediately, and his sense of humour is fantastic. I would recommend him and The Alex to anybody.
pleased to know that you are doing well.
Fantastic service from Prof Senapati and his lovely team. Everyone was so helpful and kind, prof Senapati was excellent. I have had no issues or problems. I'm almost 4 weeks post sleeve. The hospital and its clinic are great. Everyone is very welcoming. The buildings are clean, tidy and comfortable.
Dear Ms Amaihe, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback, this is greatly appreciated. Kindest Regards Professor Senapati
I feel I have been dieting for 30 years to no avail. I have simply gained more and more weight regardless.Despite initial reservations I was reassured and felt confidence in Mr. Senapati and his team. I underwent the gastric sleeve procedure under Mr. Senapati around six weeks ago. It went without any issues and the pain subsided in a few days. The post-operative regime was much easier than I anticipated and find that my life has changed in a number of positive ways not least of which is that I am 20Kg the lighter and my BMI racing towards normal. I feel so much happier with my appearance, I can now start to enjoy exercise and face the prospect of buying clothes sizes I could only dream of a few short weeks ago. This procedure may not be for everyone and needs careful consideration before embarking on this journey however it seems to be working for me so far. The Hospital was excellent, the staff very friendly and efficient.
Prof Senapati and his team are truly wonderful. The patient care and understanding have been superb from start to finish. Everyone is incredibly professional, kind and it was a pleasure to have the treatment (Gastric Sleeve). I was up walking around after several hours post surgery and recovered incredibly quickly. I’ve lost just over two stone in the last month. It really was worth it. The clinic was lovely clean and the staff simply fantastic. Nothing was too much for them at all. All incredibly professional. Thank you.
Pleased to hear Samantha you are doing well
Gastric sleeve. I was a little skeptical about the life changing procedure, but I am glad I made the decision to go ahead with Dr Senapati. After care was excellent and the nurses are excellent.
I was so depressed at the beginning of my journey. The scales had crept to 15 stone. I knew something had to be done to help me. I struggled with losing weight for so many years due to health reasons and not being able to exercise. This was 4 months ago and it is honestly the best decision I have ever made. I am 3 stone lighter and am already feeling fantastic and much healthier. This has given me a whole new life and I now look forward to my future. I still have 3 stone to lose but I know I will get there soon and best of all keep the weight off. I couldn’t recommend this surgery anymore! The surgery was brilliant. I can’t lie, I was in extreme pain for about 2 weeks but after that it was amazing. Mr. Senapati was brilliant, very quick and efficient. The ward I was on at the Alexandra wasn’t so brilliant. The nurses were too busy to care for me like I needed. The doctor said I just had to drink water following surgery. Then the nurse came with some apple juice and told me I had to make sure I drank it. I started being sick and in really bad pain. Then another doctor came in and was furious that I had been given this because it is so acidic! The nurses and aftercare were poor but I am still so glad I went through this and came out the other end! Here’s to a happier healthier slimmer future!
Dear Kay, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback, this is greatly appreciated. I am truly sorry that you did not experience the care and attention that all my patients should experience. I will ensure to pass on your comments to the Director of Operations. Kindest Regards Professor Senapati
I have always been big despite undertaking classes in boxing and Muay Tai, however I struggled significantly with my weight whilst undertaking my Pharmacy degree and then working professional career. Being a healthcare professional I was and am aware of the long term consequence of obesity and the impact on ones quality of life in their later years. It was when I attended a public health lecture about the cost of healthy living; I decided that I was unable to win my battle with obesity that was ongoing for the last 10+ years alone.I made the decision to to opt for a gastric sleave after doing my own thorough research.I have never looked back, although the first month was challenging. I want to thank Mr S and his team for the support they provided me and giving me the opportunity to enjoy a better healthier and more fulfilling quality of living. Well organise and very educational. I naturally suffered cold feet during the week running up to the surgery and received multiple opportunities to address my concerns and rationale the process.Mr S was very forthcoming and his approach was warm and welcoming.Debbie the Nurse was also very helpful and again help managed my expectation and concerns.
