Gastric Band

I had a gastric band fitted, my BMI was 33 and I was pre diabetic and despite dieting was gaining weight . The procedure was explained to me and I was given time to think about it and told what life would be like afterwards. A year later I have lost 13kg and have a BMI of 26. The weight loss was done slowly and safely and my blood sugar is now normal. Thank you so much ! I have had a great experience, the clinics were not in London but this was reflected in the price and only 1/2 an hour to get there. The clinic was clean, friendly and modern.

Bariatric Surgery Consultation

I had my band surgery in Belgium 10 years ago. There are not many consultants that are willing to complete my fills because of the foreign element until I found Weight Loss Surgery Kent. Every time I have had any contact with WLS, be it phone or e-mail the response has been quick, appointments are good and a good selection of locations to choose from. My last fill did not go as planned, due to medication I was on, but the reason why it was unwise to have a fill was explained in full and whilst disappointed I came away fully understanding that it was in my best interest to leave well alone. I would recommend WLS to anyone that needs any help or assistance with bariatric issues.

Gastric Band

I have struggled with my weight for years now, causing myself to lack confidence and self worth. I have tried many diets and set myself rules, the last one being, I could only have chocolate when I walked home, what I hadn't eaten by half way had to go in the bin, I just found myself walking much slower :-) I then contacted Mr Hamouda regarding a gastric band procedure, he was extremely attentive to accuracy and detail, with a calming aura. It is just over a year now since I had my band fitted, I have lost a considerable amount of weight. I am feeling more confident each day. The after care Mr Hamouda provided was regular follow appointment with his full support. His professionalism is appreciated. Thank you.. A Robson.

Gastric Band (18/07/17) with Dr. Ahmed Hamouda - amazing surgeon - wounds are so small and neat and in very little pain. Throughout the whole process, I have been happy with Dr. Hamouda. He is realistic, honest and thorough. His team are also amazing and cannot thank his anesthetist enough for putting me at ease before the surgery.It is early days but I am so positive and really pleased with my choice of surgeon. I am a happy customer. Very good! I felt very informed and the teams worked well. The nurses are also great. It does need a bit of money spent on the building as it is slightly oudated.

I had bariaric surgery under the direcection of Mr Hamouda and his team.I can honestly say that anyone wishing to have this proceedure will not get better treatment or support than I have experienced from this team of experts. They fitted everything around me and what I needed and wanted. From the first consultation, through the surgical process and aftercare, everything was about me! the results have been fantastic and I cannot thank Mr Hamouda, Diane, Jen or the surgical team enough. The hospital where I had my surgery had some issues during my stay, but these have been resolved and had no bearing on the work that Mr Hamouda and his team did for me.From my day of arrival, I saw Mr Hamouda daily, until I checked out. I can honestly say that he and his surgical team were second to none, and I have had a lot of surgeries over the years.! Again thank you from a very happy customer.

Gastric Sleeve

I had a gastric sleeve done in June 2015. I am down 4st to now (oct 2015) decided to go for a sleeve as the band was not suitable with the amount of travelling we do. Have not regretted it one bit love the way I am starting to look. I have told friends who are thinking about it to go for it best decision I ever made. Went to the Nuffield in tonbridge wells . The staff from when you walk in on your first visit to when you leave after surgery were friendly and very helpful. Tea, coffee is all on offer in the lobby and waiting rooms.

I had gastric band surgery on 15th may. After years of yoyo dieting I finally felt as if I needed to take this step to discipline myself, its a life style choice one of which I do not regret making, I have lost 14lbs so far, and feel great and I felt the price was worth every penny, and I would highly recommend my surgeon Mr Hamouda from my first consultation to my first post operative visit he has had a very caring and warm greeting for me and made me feel totally at ease about the whole procedure. My experience at the Benenden hospital was exceptional from the moment I arrived until I left, the nurses where great, all the surgery team where reassuring, really felt looked after. The hospital staff were very warm and friendly, and the hospital was very clean and welcoming, I never felt nervous at all.
