I started gaining weight after my second pregnancy and just couldn't loose it. I became depressed and started using medication. I would lose weight on fad diets, only to regain it even more. I had to do something. Eventually I had a Gastric Sleeve done at the Empowered Weight Loss Clinic. After a year and half the team still calls me to do follow ups!. I feel like they really care and want to make sure that I succeed. They treat me like I am part of their family. Evelyn is a sweetheart, and Rowena the dietician is always available on email. I am so glad I met the surgeons here. They changed my life! Its been a great experience.

It was the best decision of my life to get a bariatric sleeve surgery I was operated and treated by Dr Atif iman shami on 5th of April 2016Under the weight of 103 kgs ..38 BMI ..age 23 ..height 5'7 My weight was big problems for me I was trying myself hard for it but I couldn't achieve my goals in many past year I got in 9 months I lost 31 kgs and now I'm 72 kgs I never thought of being able to loss this much weight. .. I will really thank my doctor he is the 1st bariatric surgeon in Pakistan that he introduced this surgery for over obes people like us as I'm still under this treatment and contact ... it's really a safe surgery I will recommend it to the people who are in trouble because of over weight. .. My experience was really good here By Dr Atif Inam Shami Even after weight loss surgery u need motivation which I got here to achieve my goals ...

I was booked in with Andrea to have my balloon inserted. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make my appointment as my husband had to have emergency surgery and couldn’t fly from NZ to Malaysia. This aside I have found Andrea and her team absolutely wonderful to deal with. I felt completely supported as I prepared for my journey. Andrea is incredibly accommodating and so helpful and I would recommend her to deal with if you're considering any type of procedure.

Dr Evren did a great job with my Gastric Sleeve Bypass operation. He explained everything to me in a very clear manner, he was also very kind and friendly and was always there to answer any questions that we had. Wonderful and warm experience. Overall I would highly recommend!

Two months ago I traveled to Lebanon to have breast implants done. I chose this clinic because I’m Lebanese and it was easy to have surgery in my home country. Dr. Safa is quite well-known in the industry and I knew I’d be getting a good deal. Most of the other doctors in Lebanon charged more or less the same price for the implants, but Dr. Safa had the best rates and he even gave me a discount. The implants have completely changed my life. The staff at the clinic were so friendly, they felt more like family to me. I could call the doctor anytime if I had questions, or I could send him a message over WhatsApp. If Dr. Safa was unavailable, I could always ask his assistant. Everything I needed, they provided me with. The best part was the big private suite they put me in, it even had a television inside!. I was wearing hijab, and they made sure no men entered the room during my stay. All the nurses in my room were women and I felt completely comfortable. The staff were excellent when it came to dealing with patients, and the doctor’s bedside manner was faultless. For one year after the surgery, I’ll have free follow-ups.

"I ended up having to have surgery to remove my gall bladder"

I suffered from severe gall bladder inflammation and took myself to Holy Spirit Northside Private Emergency. I was subsequently admitted to Holy Spirit Northside with a severe inflammation of my gall bladder. I was placed in Dr Will Braun's care. I ended up having to have surgery to remove my gall bladder. I was not able to see Dr Braun before surgery, which was some 12 hours after admission.I met Dr Braun immediately prior to surgery and we talked through my diagnosis, treatment options and risks, I felt comfortable to go ahead with the surgery.Dr Braun saw me this morning after my surgery last night, he told me what happened and answered my questions.I reckon he's a good surgeon and a good guy. I'd see him again if I needed surgery.
