I’m a slightly nervous dental patient but feel confident with Dr Davies, whose practice I’ve been attending for years. He is always helpful, courteous and gentle. Highly experienced, he patiently answers questions and discusses any procedure he recommends. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Root Canals

I've been experiencing extreme nerve pain on the right side of my face for several months and have been to several dentists, a maxillofacial surgeon and my GP and no one was able to make it go away. Dr Davies gave me the first stage of a root canal today and he's hopeful that that should fix it! Will be so excited if he's right. Even if not, it was infected so had to be done, and the whole team were wonderful, very soothing, very encouraging, really good for someone like me who is very nervous about dental procedures. The happy gas helped a lot, as did the pre-procedure meditation that Dr Davies took me through. Big props to Suzie on reception, who was super kind and considerate in talking me through the ongoing treatment plan. It's obviously expensive, but certainly comparable to anywhere else in Canberra, and I really appreciated, as a full time student, that they have student discounts. Office is centrally located - parking a bit tricky (unless you have an ANU parking permit) - but their website does give you lots of options to help with that. Waiting room is comfy, procedure rooms are clean and well appointed. I liked that Dr Davies suggested that I might like to bring my headphones next time, as listening to soothing music would aid the happy gas in bringing me relaxation. Nice tip. All good :) Thanks for taking care of me Dr Davies and team!
