Implant Dentist Consultation

I had become uncomfortable with the appearance of my smile and also had some necessary work that needed doing. Basically not taking proper care of my teeth had caught up with me at the age of 45. The quotes for what I wanted and needed to be done were in the $26,000 $USD range. I had been to Colombia several times and it is one of my favorite countries in the world. I found Dr. Uribe after doing my research online. I called and spoke to Cristina and everything that subsequently happened was amazing. She assured me that they had an extensive international clientele. She explained that Dr. Uribe's qualifications were in excess of most American dentists. Most of all she made me feel safe with the process. After emailing my X-rays to her she gave me a quote for less than half $. I made the arrangements and flew into Cali. Such a beautiful city and perfectly safe. Cristina made everything so easy. Airport transfers with the coolest driver Alfonso. Hotel reservations, even restaurant reservations, and recommendations. VIP treatment is the best description. As to the treatment itself? Flawless! Dr. Uribe is a genius at what he does. He explains everything and doesn't do any work that isn't necessary. He even caught three implants that the American dentist was trying to do that were totally unnecessary. He is a perfectionist and a genuinely good man. I don't believe you could do any better, at any price, anywhere in the world. My smile looks perfect. Also, the work was done 9 months ago and everything is working great!

Dental Implants

Thank you so much everyone at Estetica Dental Avanzada. I cannot be more happier with the service, communication and overall experience. Dr. Uribe and his staff were so nice, knowledgable , professional , warm and kind. I traveled from Fort Lee ,New Jersey USA for a dental implant. Dr. Uribe carefully explained all the procedures before I had them done. My pre-op and impressions appointment went really well. He answered all of my questions . The price was lower compared to the U.S., but very high quality. I will certainly recommend Dr. Uribe to my family and friends. I am coming back to finish the work and be in good hands!!! Dr. Uribe is very professional and efficient!!!!

Wisdom Tooth Extraction, Dental Implants

I had the pleasure of having dental work done by Dr. Juan Fernando Uribe in Cali. First of all I must say that Dr. Uribe is an extremely professional, warm and attentive person. Before he started the procedure he took the time to explain everything that would be done, so that I knew what to expect. During the treatment he kept me informed as to what he was doing every step of the way and made a great effort to ensure that I was comfortable. I felt totally relaxed and at ease. He shows great passion for his work - like an artist working meticulously and precisely to create a work of art. I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted and an implant put in, during which I felt no pain. The recovery was swift and without complications. I never thought I would ever say that a dental visit was a pleasant experience, but I must admit that it truly was! Thank you, Dr. Uribe! And thank you too, Cristina, for going above and beyond to not only schedule my appointment but also for assisting with transportation and hotel arrangements. For anyone in need of professional and affordable dental services I highly recommend this clinic.

I never thought going to the dentist would turn into a bucket list experience

Dental Implants, Root Canals

Dr. Juan Fernando Uribe exceeded all my expectations. He took great care to review every step. I had 2 rear molar implants and a root canal. Dr. Uribe spoke English very well after having an implant in the US, I kind of knew what I was in for. Surprisingly Dr. Uribe process is amazing, the implants were all but painless far less than in the US. The root canal was very typical but again I was very comfortable to the point of sleep. I felt no rush and I sensed the doctor's only focus was on doing things right. If you have been searching the web looking for advice and received all the worrisome comments from friends and U.S. Doctors. Put all that to rest. Dr. Uribe's office is as professional and more up to date than most in the States. Most importantly, this is not a churn and burn "Dental Tourism Agency" or a chain office. I felt more like a family member than a patient. They assigned me a guardian angel. Dr. Uribe niece who is fluent in English came to every setting and even helped fill prescriptions. Very nice and very appreciated, however, Dr. Uribe's English was just fine and I could have managed but I am grateful just the same.Finally the price: I spoke to more than 10 Dental Clinics throughout Colombia, most had a middleman and some very aggressive at over twice the price for the same work. What really impressed me the most was Dr. Uribe scripted most of the correspondence and always got back to me within 24 hours. The best part I was straight with them and they were straight with me. No, upsell or added services. I paid exactly what I was first quoted. Be assured if you don't have the same experience and a change of plan has to make it will be in your best interest and safety. Bottom line the difference between what it costs in the US was enough to pay for a two-week vacation including several flights around the country. I look forward to returning should I ever need more Dental work. Colombia and its people are warm, gracious and beautiful. I never thought going to the dentist would turn into a bucket list experience.

I always had big problems with my dentures, the result of an intense treatment when I was just a child. As a result of this, I had a great variety of problems with my teeth, poor quality of enamel, high sensitivity and an exaggerated wear. With the advice of Dr. Uribe, we decided that it was best to remove 5 of my teeth from the top and replace them with 3 implants. The results were immediately seen and I won in self-confidence, I finally had the opportunity to show my teeth when smiling and this certainly gave me a better preparation for the future. The staff working with Dr. Uribe was very professional at all times. Starting with the doctor who showed exceptional professionalism and dedication, going through to his assistant Erika who was also very special. And of course Cristina, who was always aware of all the logistics and administration required for this type of treatment, which for patients like me who live abroad is absolutely important.

Dental Implants

Dr. Uribe removed some failing teeth and proceeded to installed four upper implants and four lower implants in a 4-1/2 hour surgery. The following day he installed temporary prosthesis' until the implants are properly in place. A week later I had a final appointment to ensure everything was healing well. During the week Dr. Uribe kept close track of my progress, making sure I had no pain, bleeding issues etc.The amount I paid for this procedure was less than half of what I was quoted in the U.S., and I got much more done. And I cannot see how I could have gotten better results and better quality of work in the U.S. than what I got with Dr. Uribe.I highly recommend you consider Dr. Uribe's clinic as en excellent option for your dental needs in implants and reconstructive dentistry. I learned about this clinic through a family member. After going over their portal I had a long conversation with Dr. Uribe during which, in a clear and simple way, he explained my options and what he proposed as the treatment I needed. This conversation gave me great confidence that, despite his young age, I was dealing with a very qualified dentist. I was not wrong at all with my assessment!The clinic is clean, nice and with the same level of equipment you would find in the U.S. The personnel is exceptionally professional, but with a latin touch that makes you feel like family. I highly recommend it.
