I broke my tooth on the hike to the Lost City, so I needed to get it fixed while in Colombia. I looked for a dentist in Bogota with good reviews, and found this one. It turned out to be a good choice. I didn't have much time, so I was very pleased when they were able to make a new crown for me in one day. I went there 2 times on the same day. First for an evaluation of what would be the best solution for me, and to make a mould of my broken tooth. The second for the actual crown to be put in. Everything went smoothly, all the people working there were very friendly and professional. It was very easy to book the appointment and communicate with the reseptionist at the clinic in english, and the male dentist (forgot his name) who did my dental work spoke english too. I felt safe and in very good hands all the time. It's only been a day since I got my crown, but everything feels very good. No pain or other problems at all. I haven't compared prices, so I don't know if they are cheaper or more expensive then others in the city, but they were cheaper then it would have been for me to do the same treatment in Norway. I took the bus there from Candelaria and it took me about 30-45min to get there. They are a 5-10min walk from the Heroes station. I can really recommend this clinic to anyone who needs a dentist while in Bogota. read more

I had become uncomfortable with the appearance of my smile and also had some necessary work that needed doing. Basically not taking proper care of my teeth had caught up with me at the age of 45. The quotes for what I wanted and needed to be done were in the $26,000 $USD range. I had been to Colombia several times and it is one of my favorite countries in the world. I found Dr. Uribe after doing my research online. I called and spoke to Cristina and everything that subsequently happened was amazing. She assured me that they had an extensive international clientele. She explained that Dr. Uribe's qualifications were in excess of most American dentists. Most of all she made me feel safe with the process. After emailing my X-rays to her she gave me a quote for less than half $. I made the arrangements and flew into Cali. Such a beautiful city and perfectly safe. Cristina made everything so easy. Airport transfers with the coolest driver Alfonso. Hotel reservations, even restaurant reservations, and recommendations. VIP treatment is the best description. As to the treatment itself? Flawless! Dr. Uribe is a genius at what he does. He explains everything and doesn't do any work that isn't necessary. He even caught three implants that the American dentist was trying to do that were totally unnecessary. He is a perfectionist and a genuinely good man. Dr Carolina Guzman Is the Best! Her staff is very friendly and professional. Her office is super modern and comfortable! I highly recommend anyone considering dental work in Medellin Colombia to go to Fross clinic!! I had my porcelain veneers done there. They look fantastic. When I returned to the US I broke one eating some hard food. But when I return to Colombia I contacted Dr. Guzman and she had me come and take some new moulds and in no time I had my new veneer making my smile perfect again! read more
