Dr Ziounas has an extensive clinical experience throughout his career working in various clinics in United Kingdom for more than twelve years in the field of Implantology and Cosmetic dentistry. He is an active member of The Association of Dental Implantology UK and still travels to his Practice in England every month to treat some of his loyal patients.

He has been trained by leading international names in the fields of implantology in the UK, Sweden, US, Brazil and France. He has completed various training courses with some of the best documented implant systems. Dr Ziounas experience and keen interest in dental implants has allowed him to be in the first group of dentists to gain a clinical Masters degree in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester where he has vastly developed his experience in dental implants, sinus augmentation and advance bone grafting techniques.

Dental Implants, Teeth Cleaning, Fillings

I have been a patient of Doctor Ziounas for about 5 years when I lived in Athens full time a good friend recommended him. Now he is the only dentist I trust with my teeth. I don't like going to the dentist as it makes me nervous, but at Dr Ziounas' clinic, I feel very comfortable and relaxed. I have had many cleanings and fillings done here as well as a dental implant. I didn't feel any pain during any of the procedures!Dr Ziounas is highly professional, meticulous, genuinely cares about your dental wellbeing, and also has a friendly and caring personality. I highly recommend him and his clinic for any kind of dental treatment. I go back to Athens regularly and always make time to see him before I come back to London.

Dental Implants, Dental Bridges

While in Italy I decided to look into whether I could get a new upper bridge made while I was in Greece. I reached out to a few clinics and Dr. Ziounas was the only clinic that got back to me willing to look into the potential. He did a very thorough check and determined we could get it done. Throughout the whole process he was very professional, personable, very thorough and explained things including other options incredibly well. He took great care with everything he did and it was truly a different experience than getting my first zirconia bridge done in Hungary, including an amazing amount of extra work to get the bite just right. I was incredibly impressed by his work and his willingness to get us in. The fact that his prices were great only added to my already high satisfaction.And as a huge further plus, my partner was a little interested in getting the implant process started but was apprehensive about the process. We got her into the chair and through explaining the process calmed her anxieties enough to get the process started. She now has two implants in her bottom jaw and is considering doing something for the top too. Getting dentistry work done has always been very hard for her to get through so his ability to take her through it and calm her anxieties was very impressive.Despite the fact that we are in a position where we could potentially go to a different country that could save us a few dollars, he gave us all the information we need, we are going back in February to get my bottom bridge redone, my partner's bottom denture and (hopefully) she decides to look further into something for the top denture.I have absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Dr Ziounas for anyone looking for quality implant work to be done in Greece.

Root Canals, Fillings

Last year I moved Florida to Athens, Greece. In Florida I work for the largest group of Dental Labs in the US called National Dentex. My experience is with hundreds of Doctors but very few are excellent. Most want to finish the task at hand and move to the next patient. I can give 4 examples of why Dr. Ziounas is among the very best. But I’ll only share my last experience which was about 10 days ago. I went in for a simple filling and once done he wanted to take a look at something suspicious under the surface of a molar that had an old filling. He took off a bit and found decay in 3 spots. He cleaned the area and sealed it.What’s most important here is. If he did not carefully look to catch this in 2-3 years I would have had needed a Root Canal procedure and a Crown. He uses the latest and best materials which I worked with is the US. Also, his tools have LED’s attached which helped in my case find a problem under the surface.It’s my pleasure to write this review because Dr. Ziounas has always gone above and beyond and has a passion for Dentistry.
