Diagnosis : partially edentulous, periodontal problems, loss of teeth, tooth mobility.Objective : bucco-dental rehabilitation, from both a functional and an aesthetic point of view.Treatment : prosthetic restoration using implantsProblems to be faced if I do nothing : changes of the facial features, bone and gum tissues loss, more and more eating difficulties, and eventually loss of confidence.So, it’s really important to have those problems efficiently treated and solved, at an affordable price, which is the case in Budapest. A friend of mine and a satisfied patient introduced me to Dr. Peter Haidekker … At this stage, no regrets !His patient coordinator, Szilvia, is really a special person … Gentle, courteous, personalized service, helpful, knowledgeable and always willing to assist. She is efficient, pro-active, reactive. All the information I received initially were really correct which included a detailed treatment plan and price calculation. Moreover, she is concerned about whether you're all right. In case of need or emergency, you can contact her by email or by phone, she always answers rapidly and efficiently. It’s nice, reassuring and hugely appreciated !Even if the course of the treatment is not yet completed, Dr. Peter Haidekker performed the implant surgery with care and precision. Dental Bridges

Absolutely brilliant service. My husband was told in the UK they cannot give him another bridge and he should get 4 implants at approx £10000 as a quoted. Peter said it was not a problem and gave my husband a new bridge and made sure everything was ok before he left at a lower price. Peter is a perfectionist and works fast, he is so busy and just wants to get on with it. Sylvia the coordinator is so helpful and accommodating. She made us feel very welcome and gave us helpful advice on where to go in Budapest. I would recommend this dental service without a doubt and know you will not be disappointed. Teeth Whitening

I went along with my partner who was having treatment with Peter. Sylvia dealt with our enquiry with great efficiency and everything went smoothly. Her command of the English language is excellent and she accompanies all patients to their appointments. She also arranges and pays for transfers from the airport to the city. While I was there I enquired about teeth whitening procedure and was amazed to find it much cheaper than here in the UK. An appointment was made for me and I underwent the procedure with no discomfort. I was delighted with the results. We chose this clinic following reading reviews and also after speaking to Sylvia who gave us confidence that we were making the right choice.Peter is an excellent, well sought after dentist who operates in a hospital in the centre of beautiful Budapest. I would recommend both him and the support of Sylvia without any reservation.

Having had a denture that became redundant once an anchor tooth cracked and had to be extracted. Furthermore, I had a gap and some crooked teeth which made me feel very self-conscious when smiling if I did. At that point, I decided I needed something more permanent and my UK dentist referred me to a consultant. I came out rather shell-shocked having been given a quote for the dental work involved and I should say that was just to replace the teeth missing in the upper jaw. After a little research on What Clinic I chose ACTIV as they had a good rating and I can see why now. I flew over for a free consultation and for a full overhaul of upper and lower jaw the cost, even with flights, was significantly less than the UK and I do mean significant. After the initial consultation my treatment required two further visits (September and December 2017) and each time Sylvia would be there to reassure me. Dr. Haidekker was very friendly aiming to provide a painless and stress-free environment which in my opinion both he and Sylvia achieved. You couldn't really ask for more.The implants, crowns and bridge are now firmly in place and I can comfortably chew and eat normally. Dr. Haidekker is very particular once your new teeth are fitted. He spent some time ensuring my bite was perfect and that time paid off as I have had no problems over the Christmas period.The only thing I have to do now is learning to smile again.I would have no problem recommending the dental practice to anyone who is thinking of taking this line of treatment. For me it is was worth every penny. I chose this clinic for two reasons.1. They were the only clinic to respond to my email.2. They had a good rating on WhatClinic Budapest.When you visit Dr. Haidekker he always has patients and his surgery is located in the Hospital. That alone tells me he is popular and Hospital authorities are unlikely to allow a rogue dentist to practice on their premises. You may want to know that whilst I was there I met two patients from Ireland and one from France and the lady from Ireland was overjoyed with her result.After my initial consultation I did not feel apprehensive about the treatment plan and that is why I embarked on the next two visits. By his very professional nature he gave me confidence that he would achieve my expectations. My second visit was over 3 days for the implants and the second visit over 5 days for the preparation and fitting of crowns and bridges. This may seem lengthy but it ensured that my treatment was completed correctly and is not rushed. Do what I did and go for it.

My treatment has been excellent. Starting with the very efficient communication from Sylvia. Always prompt and courteous and friendly. Always willing to help. She has become my friend. Dr Peter does fantastic work. All the problems I had with my teeth are gone. They are looking great. I feel confident now because of how they look. One example of his great work was four extractions in one appointment and replaced by temporary teeth! I have had implants, crowns and bridges.

He called my attention to this dentistry and I made a good decision. I am very satisfied with the care, with the services and the result of the treatment.I had the overlapping teeth and the final results are better than I imagined. Sylvia always responded quickly and efficiently to any queries. As a result she was the most reliable and with a competitive price. Dr. Peter Haidekker did my implants which laid the foundation for crowns and bridges. I have had no problems with the teeth since and have had many comments about how well they look. I had many teeth missing and there were gaps and i had a filling that constantly fell out in the frontSylvia was the best person i contacted in Budapest dental practices and the day i arrived she met me in the street with a hug. She is so warm and friendly. I will never forget that moment. While waiting in the waiting room, Sylvia gave me a laptop to check emails and brought coffee and was there at all times in case there was any need for interpretatation or if i had any queries. The door was always open if there was any problem and you could just arrive without appointment and they would take very good care of you

I had always paid for private dental treatment until a number of bridges and crowns began to fail. I had consultations with local clinics in Northern Ireland and was shocked at the cost of implants, bone augmentation, twilight anaesthesia. A treatment plan that would take 9 months to a year.I decided to look into going abroad, did my research and decided to go to Budapest on a short break to look at a few clinics. I planned my own travel and accommodation because I wanted to make a decision purely on who I thought was the best option for my dental treatment, not who paid for my hotel or picked me up from the airport.I won’t discuss the clinics I rejected but when I met Dr Haidekker I knew that he was the dentist for me. He has a no-nonsense approach and he told me what I needed and what was possible not what he thought I wanted to hear.I returned to Budapest a month later to start my treatment. I had a couple of extractions and four implants put in. I found the implants quite straight forward, a few injections and an hour later they were in with very little fuss.Three months later I was back for a full upper set of crowns and lower molar/premolar bridges on both sides. I found the whole process very straight forward when I decided to get my treatment with Dr Haidekker. We agreed the dates and price then Sylvia organised the accommodation and pick up from and back to the airport. Sylvia was always on hand to resolve any questions that I had.I am going to return to Activ Dental for some more treatment in a few months and spend some more time in Budapest sightseeing.

During 2019 I had the most pleasant experience I believe is possible while having what by any measure would be considered major dental work accomplished. I am an American living and working in Ireland. In the past, I had tried to take care of my dental needs during my periodical visits back to the States. Not only did prove incredibly expensive but virtually impossible to schedule because of my work demands. Typically I would be charged a couple of hundred dollars for an assessment ( always multiple extractions and implants) when asked for a commitment it always involved a "Down Payment" and appointments were not available for many months later - I explained my circumstances only to be shrugged off. 'Well, that's his earliest available appointment.As a couple of years past the condition of my dental health eroded. I started researching dental services available in Europe and came across Budapest. It appeared that many Europeans would travel to Hungary for such medical services. Exploring further I came across Activ Dental Clinic. I had never set foot in Hungary in my life. I decided that an assessment trip could not hurt and I would be able to compare the clinic's personnel and equipment and at least have a better feel for if this was an option as it was much less expensive. My first appointment was outstanding. Essentially the Clinic had dedicated people to assure I arrived met with transfers and got into the hotel. Following that, I was collected and brought to the Clinic. The equipment there was the same new state of the Art equipment used in Florida. The dentist was a second-generation dentist ( and an avid sailor as well) I never experienced any pain past the initial prick of the injection. During the first few days, I had quite a bit of work done and there was the necessity for implants and extraction point to heal before the second longer appointment. Again I cannot say enough for the care professional care and attention I received from everyone connected with the clinic.In the end, I received many implants, extractions, bridges and temporary plates to gap the time. I perhaps had 5 times the dental work assessed previously in the US ( which was to be in stages that ultimately would have included everything I had done in Budapest). The obvious question is cost. Including airfare, I spent perhaps 20% of what the same treatments using in some cases higher quality implants, bridges and crowns that were to be used in the United States. I will recommend these professional caring dental experts to anybody. In this age of scams and rip-offs - It is reassuring to encounter not only a genuine deal but an entire experience that revitalizes the idea of caring professionals.
