Treatment went without a hitch

Root Canals, Fillings, Extractions

I had a 3 week visit to India but the dentists managed 3 root canals, couple of cavity fillings and 1 tooth extraction without a hitch. I highly recommend you to visit them if you have tooth problems. I am a New Zealand permanent resident. Dental care is pretty costly here. When I went to India this summer, I was recommended to check out Avance Dental Care by my mother. The prices were reasonable but most importantly the dentists were very professional and flexible in appointments. The dentists are ex-PGI professionals and the quality of work is visible.

Faultless dentistry

The idea to come to India for dental treatment came from my inability to pay for expensive treatment in the U.K. (I'm a British Asian born and bred in the U.K so my viewpoint is to a larger extent of a tourist). Articles on the net further peaked my interest.Even though India would undoubtably be cheaper (my dental work in the U.K was 12k plus but in India potentially a quarter or a third of this) I was still skeptical for the following reasons :-1) Did Indian dentists have the level of skill, knowledge and experience in using high quality international materials to carry out implants and upper/lower veneer placements whilst ensuring the least amount of pain to a patient?2) Did Indian dentists premises contain cutting edge technology to assist them and was the environment hygienic and safe for their patients?3) Could I also find a dentist to resolve issues with a 27 year old gold cap, remove all my mercury based fillings, reduce my phobia of being in a dentists chair (I haven't visited one for 20 years) and deal with any other issues that could arise in the space of 6 days before I flew back to the U.K? Dr Mohit and his wife Dr Rosy of Avance Dental Care of Chandigarh were judged and measured by my above concerns and I am very please to say; they were not found wanting.Also as a point of note, they were 50% cheaper than dentists in Delhi, Jallunder and Ludhiana.Not only did this dynamic duo carry out all the work necessary with the least amount of discomfort to me but they also performed a sinus lift and bone graft to either side of my mouth so that longer implants (5 in total) could be added as side molars which would last longer. Some unscrupulous dentists would not be as ethical as this as would take the money and run but not Dr Mohit and Dr Rosy. Not only were my top 10 teeth veneered skillfully but also the bottom set. Not only were 7 implants placed faultless but also all other issues with my teeth resolved. And amazingly Dr Mohit carried out 90% of this work in 1.5 days - Both these dentists are remarkable individuals for the level of care and support they provide answering any questions I had as well as their depth/breadth of knowledge and of R&D which they have used to introduce new techniques to North India (which I have researched and can confirm). For me they have been a god send and they have had extra pressure on them as I have recently lost both my parents and needed this dentistry work to be faultless. I can only end this review by thanking Dr Mohit and Dr Rosy again for helping me to start to rebuilt my life.

Dental Implants, Wisdom Tooth Extraction

I had 2 impacted wisdom teeth and 5 implants by Dr Mohit Dhawan and his associates. I was initially apprehensive as the treatment plan in US involved an extensive bone cutting and high treatment estimates. I emailed Avance Dental Care, Chandigarh my X-rays and agreed to travel to INDIA for my treatment. To my relief the doctor finished the job with very little bleeding and utmost comfort. I just didnt realise when the job was done. I recovered quickly to enjoy my trip to India...! The clinic is fantastic...!! Upto or way above the western standards....!!I have never seen a Dental Clinic with so much of Cardiology and other medical Back up. I had a CARDIOLOGIST & ANESTHETIST monitoring my vitals during the procedure...I highly Recommend this Dental Clinic to all the Patients who want quality Dental Care at economical prices...!!

Visited Chandigarh in Feb 16 for the above treatment. Had several teeth in my lower jaw extracted and had 6 implants placed. Prior to visiting I had emailed x-rays, quite frankly my mouth was a mess and Dr Mohit Dhawan had came back with a comprehensive treatment plan. Around 10 years ago I had several mini implants fitted, since which time I have been beset with problems such as repeated infection, implant failure and detached bridge. Dr Mohit Dhawan was by far the most honest, open and person centred practitioner I had contacted. He inspired confidence and made me feel that something could be done to help, despite many dentists telling me they could not help. The treatment I received was first class. It was exactly as detailed in his treatment plans. There were no hidden costs and overall the cost was great value. So much cheaper than it is in the UK. The surgery was literally painless and conducted in hygienic surroundings. Avance Dental Care is located in Sector 21, in Central Chandigarh. It is in the heart of the city. I am due to return in four weeks time for part two of my treatment plan and feel no trepidation whatsoever!! I would not hesitate to recommend treatment at Avance Dental Care to anyone. The whole process was so much better than it is in the UK......and that's not even taking into consideration the excellent value. Thanx Doc"

Very professional staff. Extremely helpful and so nice. I am very impressed with the implants my friend had done by Dr. Mohit. Had a wonderful 2 weeks in Chandigarh. The procedure went great with no pain

Dentist Consultation

Avance did dental implants upper and lower - a total of 13. I had dentures top and bottom and could not even bite into a sandwitch for over a year. I was very tired of eating the same soft foods over and over again. It will be great to get back to eating anything I want. The procedure went great. No pain. That night I did take a pain pill but that is the only time I had to deal with pain. It has been 2 days and no more pain. I would definitely recommend Avance. Also, while here, I had a skin problem from what was believed to be a reaction to sulfa drugs. The cream they gave me made a dramatic difference in just 2 days.

It is really of great pleasure that I chose "Avance" to do my dental needs. the staff are all accommodating and very hospitable and for that my sincerest gratitude. I had pain in my upper jaw. Following the diagnosis at the clinic, wisdom tooth extraction and cavity filling were done in one visit each. Genuine Post-treatment assistance was provided. It's easy to contact the Doctors on phone in case of emergency/ post-operative consultation. Overall experience was quite satisfying. I got immediate treatment as soon as my wisdom tooth impaction was diagnosed. The doctors- Dr. Mohit and Dr. Rosy helped me in taking informed decisions regarding treatment. The whole staff is cooperative.
