Teeth Cleaning

Went to get my teeth cleaned and don't really like the injections so Aoife the hygienist was oh so helpful and did a brilliant job never felt a thing and chatted away the whole way through it such a lovely experience will never be worried about it again as once Aoife there I'm in safe hands thanks so much again

Dental Checkup, Fillings, Extractions

Brought kids in for checkup, I've had fillings and extractions there. Everything is explained to you on easy terms, they tell you what you need to do. Pain free, quick procedures, not like dentists from years ago. Absolutely brillliant. Great staff If you are a nervous patient, and they make you feel relaxed! Brilliant with the kids as well, my kids didn't mind going to the dentist when I first took them to John. He doesn't lecture you or talk down to you or anything like a lot of dentists do.

Probably the best dentistry practice in Carlow. The staff are always so nice and helpful. They're incredibly good with people who have had bad experiences in other places. The hygienist is such a nice person and makes the experience as easy as possible. Definitely recommend this practice

Dentist Consultation

I have been attending Sullivan Dental in Carlow for about a year now. Initially very reluctant as I have a huge fear dating back to my childhood from a very traumatic experience. The anxiety, the knot in my stomach, the cold, the shaking, and the exhaustion were so real. Over time and with the help of a very special team my fear reduced each time. I was there again on Friday and I was relaxed and I felt safe. John had to leave the room for a minute and I was just thinking I feel calm, the fear is gone. The treatment and the equipment have developed so much. A simple thing like wearing black glasses also is a huge help. The team be it John the dentist or Aoife my Hygienist tell me how long each section is going to take so if you know it’s 30 seconds it makes it easier to process in your head. I was also told to tell them if I needed a break so by saying that to me, I felt I had a bit of control too. All those years ago I was not listened to, I had no voice but now I have a caring team who listen, respect and understand. Aoife is truly amazing and I thank her for the huge part she has played in alleviating my fear. Thanks so much to all the team. I highly recommend Sullivan Dental to everyone but especially to anyone who has had a fear of dentists. 5 ⭐️ and more.
