fillings, scaling Can't speak highly enough of Dr Mc Carthy and his wonderful team. The most down to earth and genuine Dentist I have ever come across, very friendly and welcoming. I had 3 appointments and I can honestly say they were painless. The price was absolutely reasonable and the final results were very impressive.

I had a cavity in my front tooth and went to Dr Niall McCarthy. He was very good and explained everything to me. I have a fear of needles but I can honestly say that I didn't feel a bit throughout the procedure. He really cares about his patients. Both the Dental nurse and Receptionist were so kind. I can't praise them enough. As for the tooth, it looks brand new and a lot different from the worn tooth that it was. Will definitely be going back for other future treatments. Thank you, Dr Niall McCarthy and staff!

My experience this morning was unbelievable, as always completely pain free. I had 2 very big fillings to be done, I barely had sat on the chair when Dr. McCarthy asked if I could take a rinse and to my utter amazement both fillings were completed, just a wonderful Dentist and for people who have a phobia or dread Dentists as I had for years I promise you Dr. Niall McCarthy is the Dentist for you. He will totally help you to regain your confidence and make a visit to the Dentist a wonderful experience as it should be. Please take it from me, I am now 66 years old and finally thanks to Dr. Niall McCarthy I can honestly say after all the years of fear that I have no problem visiting the Dentist, not any Dentist, it has to be Dr. Niall McCarthy. I can't miss out on letting this day go without sharing my experience once again with my Dentist Niall McCarthy (Burren Dental Clinic), I could not and did not visit a dentist since I was very young because of a very bad experience I had with our School Dentist many moons ago...until Niall was recommended to me, I just cannot say enough about him and his staff, he took me from a very dark place where Dentistry was concerned to a now lovely experience and I mean that. From the get-go, he made me feel so relaxed and spoke and discussed every aspect of my treatment and most importantly TOTALLY pain/hurt free, something I never experienced with the Dentist. Any person that is anyway nervous, I promise you will not regret a visit to Niall's practice. Thank you, Niall and a big thanks to his staff who made me feel so relaxed. Totally looking forward to my next visit.

My treatment today consisted of 2 fillings, such a transformation, I couldn't believe my eyes, Dr. Niall McCarthy took excellent care of me not just because I have an incredible fear, not just because I am a granny with an incredible fear, he took excellent care of me because that's what he does, in a nutshell he is an excellent Dentist, caring, understanding, takes such pride in what he does, he just didn't fill my teeth, and send me packing, he transformed my teeth , totally pain free, totally relaxed, he used the most up to date filling , can't remember the name , when I looked in the mirror it was as if he had given me a false tooth it looked so perfect, hadn't seen it look that good in years. Can't thank him and the staff Mary and Colette enough. highly, Highly recommend. Oh my God where do I Start about my experience. firstly I am a granny of 64, circa 1959-60, I had an horrendous experience with a Dentist that literally took away my confidence and courage of ever seeing a Dentist again, until on the advise of my brother in law I visited Dr. Niall McCarthy, I literally did not sleep for 2 nights before my visit that will give an idea of the state I was in, from the moment I entered the Surgery I have honestly to say that the staff Mary and Colette just made my visit such a pleasure, so relaxed , so understanding, following my visit today I have learned that I require further treatment in the form of 13 more fillings, resulting in years of neglect through FEAR, no pressure from Dr. Niall he even suggested that maybe I might like to have a second opinion, without hesitation I will be completing this treatment, this is from a woman who could hardly pass a Dental Surgery without feeling physically ill, the professionalism, the understanding , and the care you receive is second to none, but most importantly for the patient, THE PAIN FREE experience is great. I highly recommend The Burren Dental Practice.

We live in Meath, however we contacted this surgery as knew we would be holidaying close by and wanted to have our child's tooth checked quite quickly as we had some concerns and felt it couldn't wait until we came home from holidays. We were so impressed with the professionalism and friendliness that we feel we would come back ourselves if we need to get any work done. Trust is a huge emotion when going to the dentist and Dr. McCarthy just made you feel at ease and gave lots of information regarding various options to help us make the best decision for our son.From the moment I phoned until leaving the surgery, the level of customer service was excellent.

Always had a fear of going to the dentist until I went to the Burren Dental Practice. Niall and his staff totally put me at ease. Niall explained everything that I need to have done and could do it in my own time. Got root canal filling done and I can honestly say I did not feel a thing as I was being reassured and asked if I was okay during the procedure. He also gave me a follow up call yesterday evening after the root canal filling to see if I was okay, which I thought was very polite of him to do. I highly recommend The Burren Dental Practice!!
