Dentist Consultation

Were you pleased with the treatment? Yes - and they have recently sent me a reminder for my 6-monthly check-up. This is covered for free under my PRSI (you give them your PPS number and they will check that you are covered - no hassle), so great service. Hours are extremely flexible, so can fit appointments around work and other commitments. Would you recommend the clinic? Yes - a new clinic and everything is clean and new. Can't recommend it highly enough. Staff are courteous and friendly. All treatments carefully explained. Would you return for further treatment? Yes and have already made my next appointment.

Were you pleased with the treatment? Yes I was treated by Dr Nicola Barry and I found her very helpful and patient. I was very nervous and asked her lots of questions before returning and she answered them all and put me at ease. The injection did not hurt at all and the work was done quickly. Would you recommend the clinic? Yes. It is a little out of the way with the only bus being the 54a but the service is excellent. It costs €50 for a small filling and €70 for a large. Would you return for further treatment? Yes I have to make 5 visits! i had 9 fillings to get and a clean.

Having attended Dr Nicola Barry at Fortfield Dental for a number of years now and having had various issues from check up & clean to deep root canal treatment dealt with I can vouch for the competence and professionalism of the service provided. The service is provided in a very relaxed manner by friendly staff who take the time to listen to their patients and to address any queries or concerns they might have. I would have no difficulty in recommending this practice to anyone in need of dental services.

I decided to move dentists after being somewhat unhappy with my last dentist who I felt refused to clean my teeth during a check-up in order to send me to their hygienist and increase the amount I paid. I chose Fortfield Dental after reading positive reviews on this site. I had a check-up, teeth cleaning, X-rays, and a small filling, some covered under my PRSI and some paid for. Given the time, care, attention and quality of treatment I received, I was very happy with the amount charged. I had an excellent experience at Fortfield Dental. I saw Nichola and was just so impressed by her. She really put me at ease by chatting away about various everyday things. I actually found myself smiling in the dentist's chair - a very rare occurrence! This was all while cleaning my teeth and giving me a filling. As I can be quite nervous, I found this just great. I've so many memories of really serious dentist visits, with the dentist making lots of negative noises and sighs, while saying very little and leaving me to worry about how bad things were! This was so different! She also took the time to explain things to me and I found her advice really helpful. I have already recommended her to all around me. My boyfriend's mum is going tomorrow and I have a few others who are likely to go now too! Excellent, relaxed experience for a nervous patient.
