Had braces top and bottom. The finished job was so much more than what I expected. What an amazing job Dr. Akram Jasim did Hollywood smile. Also he is very honest, for instance he booked me in before treatment to get a filling done and after 5 mins he said no the tooth is okay it doesn't need filling. Maybe at a later date but not now and charged me nothing. Where as most other dentists would have just filled the tooth and charged you. Before Doctor Akram, I visited another practice who said I'll need 5 new filling before treatment, Dr. Akram said you may need one. That says it all. Great staff and very friendly. read more

Lovely man, my mother couldn't get help with her tooth anywhere and John couldn't have been more helpful. We are going on holiday and she was so worried it wouldn't be sorted as she was in alot of pain. Couldn't recommend him more she had zero pain or issues after the removal. read more

My five-year-old daughter has a cavity in need of attention. Dr. Orla Coffey had my daughter come in a few times over a period of six weeks just to say “hello”. The day of the procedure my daughter went through without a peep. It’s a great approach to a child who has never been to a dentist before and may be apprehensive about it. Having a problem with a filling that fell out while on holiday I was delighted that Dunmanway Dental Clinic found the time to see me at short notice and sorted the problem on the spot. The dentist's charges are clear from the outset and I thought they were very fair. read more

Excellent staff and service.

I first visited this clinic in Dec '11 and have visited for treatment (fillings, extractions, cleaning) approx six times since. The treatment is always top class and my lifelong fear of dentists is long gone. My dental and, as a result, my general health has improved greatly since this excellent clinic opened in Loughrea. read more

My two daughters, Aimee and Josephine went to Dr. Desmond Mc Elroy for ORTHODONTICS TREATMENT when they were in SANTA SABINA secondary school.. The professionalism and quality of work was excellent. Dr Mc Elroy was in charge. He spoke to each parent and each child on each visit to explain progress. He is generous with his time and expertise. All the staff are well trained and educated in their field.. My daughters teeth are excellent and healthy now, Not only did Dr Mc Elroy give them a confident smile, he also referred them to the very best Dentists/ Doctors, where necessary, to look after the care of their teeth. My daughters are over eighteen now and have moved on to College. They have recently returned by DART , themselves, ( which is on our doorstep and runs via Clontarf ) to Dr Mc Elroy for professional backup treatment and advice. Aimee and Josephine would not go to any other ORTHODONTIST. Dr. Desmond Mc Elroy gave my children one of the best gifts ....wonderful healthy perfect teeth. The Clinicis housed in a wonderful old house in The Crescent, Clontarf. Parents are encouraged to attend for updates on their childs progress. You are always greeted with a smile. Mr Mc Elroy is in charge. Your children will get great respect and the best dental treatment from him and his polite staff. It is a great tribute to this Clinic that my daughters can pick up the phone and book an appointment for advice any time. It has been a positive journey for my family. read more
