Dental Crowns, Wisdom Tooth Extraction, Teeth Cleaning

Dr Espinoza is a Godsend for a person who has a fear of the dentist and bad experiences in the past with the dentist! I had 6 crowns, 2 wisdom teeth extracted and deep cleaning and I can honestly say if I had to do it again I would choose to have it done there. Belen arranged everything from the shuttle to the hotel to the anesthesiologist! Thank you, Belen! Dr Espinoza was understanding, patient and he honestly understood my fear of dentist. I give this office for cleanliness, efficiency, compassion and pricing 5 stars. If you are looking for a dentist, your search should end at this office!

Dental Crowns

I concluded my dental work for the year at Fortuna Dental and I have to give a sincere shout out in thanks and praise for this office. Even with a scheduling error and short on staff this particular day they still made sure I left with my crown in place and satisfied as always. Thanks to all at the clinic as it was my birthday and you gave me a great gift, new teeth.

Teeth Whitening

My wife and I had our teeth whitened. The process takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on how still you can be. You also can't eat anything for 2 hours afterwards and they suggest nothing with either food colouring or lots of natural colour for 1-2 weeks. Not sure we will make it that long. They were very professional in the process. Good value, also.

Another satisfied customer. I had two root canals, two crowns and one extraction. 1250.00. Excellent service. Two day event. First day was impressions, root canals and extraction.The next day was attaching the crowns. If you can go before or after 'snowbird' season, it takes less time to cross the border coming back to the USA. It took 2.5 hrs on 2/7/2022 and 2/8/2022.

I have been putting off dental care in the U.S. even with full insurance as the cost was astronomical and services were limited by time and multiple appointments over months. I took $2000 to Fortuna dental and 2 days later had an extraction with bone graft and implant as well as 2 other additional crowns with X-rays all for under $1800!!! What an amazing experience and I am heading back this month to get more work done. I can chew and smile again without discomfort. Thank you

Zirconia Crown

Fortuna Dental! Wow. Lots of dentists in Los Algodones. I researched for 6 months prior to coming here, then had to put off the trip due to Covid-19 for two months. When I got here, everyone was thoughtfully wearing masks. 
 My Dentist at Fortuna was Elias Rodriguez. I had a full mouth restoration, re-crowning some and new crowning with Zirconia Crowns all. Fantastic detail to work by the ‘engineers’ who crafted them. I had at least 15 different ‘shades’ of color to choose from. The step by step and careful planning and work that Elisa did was really very thorough. I was in the chair for a number of days and his assistant Verelia was fantastic and knew what he needed and had it ready and rinsing my mouth at the right time ). When there was an alteration that was needed for one of the crowns, Elisa had three ‘engineers’ in the room to see what the problem was and they consulted back and forth and a new crown was ready the next day! Everything at Fortuna is done ‘in house’. They do the full mouth x-rays, deep cleaning, crown removal, shuttled me to a root canal specialist who did most of that work under a microscopic lens machine that I am sure cost in the 10’s of $1000’s and was the most painless and precise root canal work I’ve ever remembered having done. Fortuna does the molding, manufacture the crowns, made temporaries for the night or two that you are waiting for the crowns, crown installation and final fitting. Fortuna had to match 7 prior implants with the attachment piece that is called an ‘abutment’ which in my case was 3 different abutments that were over 20 years old and not easy to get the accurate matching piece. But they did that %100 accureately. A complete ‘one stop’ facility.
 The Cost: I think that I may have been given a little better deal than usual having been emailing and talking to and having all my x-rays and paperwork given to Fortuna long before I got there and built up a rapport with my contact, Belen and others there. In my humble opinion, If another country so close to the US can do such high quality work for such low prices doesn’t it go to show how much we are being overcharged in the US? I spent a tenth, 1/10 of what I would have spent compared to where I live in Oregon, US. That’s one of if not the major reason you are doing research as I did to have dental work done elsewhere, is it not? Belen was the facilitator that took all the information from me and made sure that Fortuna Dental got everything that was needed and wanted and consulted with me throughout the entire experience, she worked the magic with the cost to me and I can’t say enough about her enthusiasm and encouragement to having got everything done that she said would happen - thank you Belen and Fortuna Dental for an unexpected great, clean, healthy and about as an enjoyable experience as one can have when going to see the Dentist as I did! Thank you, thank you, thank you!MY

After interviewing many implant experts in California I realized I couldn't afford what I required (a sinus lift, bone graft, 6 implants and 7 crowns. The hunt for an affordable solution continued in Algodones. I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Oscar Rivera. After examining my x-rays and CT scans he proposed a treatment plan that addressed the specific teeth that required replacing (other dentists proposed expanding the work...). Dr. Rivera is gentle and strong and made the process very smooth. His work is brilliant. I can finally enjoy eating steaks without choking and reconnect with grains and tough vegetables that I've been missing...Conclusion: Oscar Rivera is competent and honest. What more can you ask of a professional?

I needed a root canal and crown. Fortuna Dental was very good about responding quickly to my emails answering many questions. Fortuna Dental offered a good price so I scheduled an appointment. I was very pleased to find the entire office was spotless. Their equipment looked to be state of the art. While I waited for my crown to be made in their lab my wife had her teeth cleaned and whitened. Again their work was very professional and worth every penny.The doctor and staff stayed late to complete my dental work. The end result was worth the drive from Phoenix, AZ. Without question, my next dental appointment will be at Fortuna.

Dentist Consultation

Dr Elias, Wow what a job he did for me. Not only has he got expertise but I consider him to be an artist with work he did on me. No pain.My Dear friend Miguel (patient coordinator) simple made everything so hassle free. Being an American with no understanding of Spanish, Miguel took care of everything and erased any of my anxiety, his knowledge of dentistry helped no end. Fortuna's whole staff is friendly and helpful to a fault. A contradiction in terms, perhaps but the entire staff made going to the dentist fun and something I looked forward to. Hell yes! go see them.
