Extractions, Dental Crowns

After going to the dentists in Casa Grande and Tucson I decided to try Mexico. I tried Soft Dental run by Dr. Garibay. I have been several times over the years and had an appointment yesterday. I would highly recommend him and for me to ever go to an American Dentist would require an act of divinity. He listens, demands the highest quality and is totally honest with you. He has done mostly repairs on what the American dentist screw up. Yesterday I had a horribly infected molar removed whom my Tucson dentist screw up from day one. I lost the entire tooth with the root and yes it hurt but I woke up this morning and no pain which I find remarkable considering how bad the infection was. When he took the crown off it smelled beyond belief. He is also replacing four crowns that the Casa Grande dentist screwed up three times. He is very knowledgeable about many dental things but if you need something from an oral surgeon he can find someone to work with so you don't have to be a go-between like in the states. Highly, highly recommend. Exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommended. Not a single complaint and he is much better than the American dentists. Well worth the six-hour round trip.

Dental Implants

Dr. Garibay was excellent! We exchanged several e-mails before my appointment and he made me aware of my options for implant and bone graft, explaining in details and making me comfortable to ask more questions. When I requested a bone graft with plasma (less used procedure), Dr. Garibay was happy to accommodate me. He provided a clean, comprehensive quote as well. No hidden prices or surprises. His price was also lower than the competition, so that was good.Now, to the procedure part - again, excellent service. Dr. Garibay clinic was small but clean and sanitized. I just finished the first part of my dental implant procedure (takes pretty much one year), and I've had no dental issues whatsoever (he did a bone graft on a 4 teeth area & installed 2 implants (those metal screws). He also made me a flipper while the procedure was being done, so no down time. One final note - don't assume that small clinic = less resources. Dr. Garibay has top-notch equipment at his fingertips. He took me to a clinic to take blood for the plasma, then to a different clinic for the 3-d CT scan (super cool!)and also outsourced the confection of the flipper to a specialist. All of that on a few blocks of distance. After the procedure him and I exchange emails about my oral health. I don't recall ever being emailed by my dentist down the street here in the US.
