Detailed exam, comprehensive x-rays, deep cleaning and scalling, extractions, fillings, crown I'm using TJ Dental in Tijuana, Mexico since 2008 and in one sentence for me TJ Dental is the best value for the money compared to any other dental providers I used in USA or Europe! I highly recommend them! There is no other dentist I was using since 2008.For the last 8 years they are located in a 100% safe and secure medical Plaza area right on a US – Mexico border. They accept and bill my (employer provided) US dental insurance (Delta Dental or MetLife Dental - as an out-of the network provider – also other US dental insurance plans are accepted) as a payment-in-full and do not charge me any annual deductibles and copayments (!!), so my annual dental expense is 0 (zero US dollars) thanks to TJ Dental! I saved thousands of $ annually in dental expenses in the last 6 years. In the initial years of 2008 – 2011 I had so much work done on my teeth that in the last two years (2012 and 2013) I could not even use up all my available annual dental benefit ($1,000 - $1,500) because there was no more dental work required beyond bi-annual cleaning. Now if you do NOT have US dental insurance (but you should still get a quality US dental insurance on your own for $20 - $30/year) then TJ Dental can offer you a substantial cash discount (no US insurance is billed) as compared to US (Southern California) dental providers, so even when you take into account gasoline expense and US side parking for a total of max $ 70.00 (Los Angeles – Tijuana – LA) they are much less expensive compared to other Southern California dental providers in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.Dentists Ms. Blanca (my main dentist) and Mrs.Teresa (dental office owner & senior dentist) are the best. When they do fillings and crowns they are so gentle.

Excellent clinic - I first found this clinic for a friend who has no insurance. They took care of numerous teeth at a fraction of the cost in the US, with quality treatment. Then, I brought two Mexican friends here, again excellent treatment, and then two more uninsured friends. When my dentist in Irvine, California wanted to charge me $890 for an extraction, including $400 for anaesthesia, I had Dr. Minero do it for $50, no problems. Now have all my treatment done here. I am still waiting to see how my insurance claim will be processed, but I expect I will be fully covered. Also, one of my Mexican friends is undergoing orthodontic treatment (braces) and the first four months seem to be going well.
