I had sixteen crowns done about 5 years ago and were very pleased initially. Even my local dentist had to admit my smile and crowns looked really good. Obviously the cost was an incredible bonus. Now the bad news. I am currently replacing 2 of my crowns. In my dentist's opinion they were made of inferior material. I'm concerned that more will need to replace.

As a result of a broken molar and a friend’s positive experience in PV, I decided to find a dental repair solution to my broken molar during my up and coming 9-day visit to PV. Online I found several clinics and made some inquiries. Dental office of PV responded and after reading some reviews I made an appointment. The first day they examined the situation and I was told I needed a root canal before they could proceed with installing a crown. The following Tuesday a specialist was brought in to do the root canal. This was a total uneventful experience lasting about 25 minutes upon which Dra. Karin proceeded with the preliminary work to install a crown and fitted a temporary one. After about an hour in total, I walked out with a temporary crown. The following Saturday I went back to have the permanent crown installed. I am incredibly pleased with the excellent workmanship an great visual and tensile result. And all this for considerably less than it would cost in Canada. I recommend this clinic to anyone and they even pick you up for your consultation. Thank you, Dra. Karen and Jose for all his help. One thumbs up.

Were you pleased with the treatment? Dr Hernandez was wonderful. I visited other dentists in PV before going ahead with treatment. This dentist was the most caring, careful, and courteous. Would you recommend the clinic? Yes. Would you return for further treatment? I will be returning to complete my treatment. I would not consider another professional.

"Highly recommend"

Several high end crowns and a partial denture. I have had several appointments with Dr. Benjamin Armenta during two visits to Puerto Vallarta in the last year. Benjamin installed crowns on most of my upper teeth and the remainder of my lower teeth. Additionally he provided me with a partial lower denture. I am extremely pleased with all the work. My teeth have never looked so good. I was a little worried about fitment of the partial denture because I didn't get it until the day before flying home. It fit very well, but ended up being a bit tight in a few spots making it painful to chew. Benjamin warned me that this might happen and told me to visit a Denturist for adjustments. A few days after arriving home, I visited a local Denturist. After a few minor adjustments everything is wonderful. The partial is so comfortable that I forget it's there. Unlike my old denture, food does not get trapped between the denture and my gums and the color matches my teeth perfectly. If you are thinking about having dental work in Puerto Vallarta, I highly recommend Dr. Armenta.

general cleaning I was really surprised by the excellent way that the staff handled my cleaning. I have never had such a great cleaning, the pressure on the nozzle used was gentle; not like the mining-for-diamonds method used in Canada. Dentists should learn from this technique. More people would go to the dentist for this. Also, the staff took pictures and mentioned that I needed a cap for one tooth and a tooth that needed removal; of which other dentists said to leave the latter, alone, as it was not abscessed and not bothering me. They were honest with what else needed to be done and I welcomed their opinion. I will investigate when I get benefits this year. And I will return to get the other work done as it was such a great experience for me and probably will always be. Leslie Queen

Were you pleased with the treatment? My experience was better than expected. Would you recommend the clinic? Yes, and I have. Would you return for further treatment? When I return to PV in February 2011 I intend to have more work done.

I needed all of my teeth crowned. I had been very self conscious of my smile for years. My first appointment , I was fearful, tearful, and embarrassed . The dentist is awesome. First, he did not make me feel bad.....but instead see that there was hope that I could smile again( without hiding my teeth with my lip or hand. He did an exam , showed me all that he was seeing and then talked about the benefits of good dental health! Several weeks later .......well....i can't stop smiling! He was kind, no pain, explained everything that would happen,and reassured me along the way. All of the staff there is wonderful!! I would recommend anyone who needs dental care to use this practice. I can not say enough nice things about these folks. All professional, but so nice and caring. Excellent

Have visited Dr. Luptia Aleman on two separate occasions. My husband had all teeth extracted, gum surgery, 6 implants with attachments and new dentures. Extremely happy with the results. Dr. Lupita was very patient in the denture fittings until he was completely satisfied. She is very professional and at the same time caring and welcoming and has become a friend.
