Very knowledgeable, fairly fluent English, explained things well and put me at ease - not easy when dealing with past dental traumas! Had chairside assistant who spoke American English and could translate anything that was not quite clear, or that he wanted to make sure was perfectly translated. Pain medication injections were painless, procedure was done quickly and explanation of exactly what was being done was given as it was carried out. Sterility was followed and filtered water was used. Price for implant was $1,600, all inclusive. Was originally going to also have 2 implants in back molars, but he discovered a jaw fracture where I'd recently had a very traumatic extraction in USA, and those implants cannot be done until it is fully healed. Errs on the side of caution for best outcome - I like that! I interviewed a couple of the top recommended clinics and chose this clinic on the basis of the education and experience of the dentist. The office was clean. They followed the proper procedures to maintain sterility of instruments and used filtered water. The office and chair-side staff spoke mostly fluent English, and Dr Victor was quite fluent, but not afraid to ask his American English speaking assistant to translate if he wanted to make sure I understood something more completely. I am an RN and understand more of the procedures that need to be followed than someone not involved in healthcare. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic and this dentist to others. read more
