Teeth Cleaning

This clinic is excellent. I have experience with visiting dentists in many countries. The office was conveniently located a very short walk from the pedestrian border crossing and a staff member met me to show me the way. From the first phone call to walking out the door after my first visit, I was treated with kindness and respect. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful and bilingual. I did not feel rushed. Dr. Chavez was thoughtful, honest, and clear in his explanations for my treatment plan taking the time to make sure I understood the procedures and the pros and cons. The office and treatment rooms were immaculate utilizing the most modern equipment and the doctor and staff followed strict hygiene protocols. I had minor procedures, a cleaning, filling and diagnostic x-rays, and will follow up with more extensive procedures.TIP: If you are walking across the border and have global entry/ SENTRI, don’t forget your card. Walking back is a little tricky. I finally asked someone who looked like they knew. Stay to the left of the main line and continue to walk to the border gates. The locals expect this and most importantly there are NO signs to guide you. Border crossings are all a little different and that’s how it’s done at Nogales.

Dentist Consultation

This dentist is very knowledgeable about the latest techniques and procedures. I intend to return to have more work done. This was an excellent value not only for the work that was done but for the knowledge of how to get the best work done for the best price. Friendly, very helpful In discussing the future possible paths I might take which direction I could take my dental care.

From Giselda, USA,I had the best treatment and the best price compared to the dentist in the USA. I had perodontal scaling, extraction, crown porcelain and bone replacement graft. Everybody speaks English. The dentist explains what he is doing, very clean. I will go back in 6 months for my cleaning.

Dental Crowns

I had much dental work that I had fallen behind on, had gotten an estimate beyond my immediate means. I knew that there are fine Dentists in Mexico that do not charge nearly as much (less than half). There was a choice of many clinics in Nogales, and I picked the one that responded, and was professional in both marketing and communication and were very willing to work with my travel schedule. I had an excellent experience. First of all, I had sent down a treatment plan devised by a local dentist (with a good reputation) and I received a reasonable bid based on the anticipated work. Once Dr. Chevez assessed me hands-on, he offered some significant changes in that plan and gave me a very good explanation relating why he felt that he would take a different approach. I have worked in medical my whole life, and have certainly had plenty of dental care by various dentists (I am 62yo) and his explanations really held water. I had already done some research based on his recommendations for crown placement that definitely coincided with up to date practice. In short, I have a great deal of confidence in his care and will be continuing to seek routine palliative/preventative care from him. I did spend a little more than the initial bid but in relation to services received and it was very fair.

I'm all set with healthy teeth and I sure I saved a bundle

Periodontitis Treatment, Bone Grafting, Extractions, Fixed Partial Dentures

I had neglected my teeth for years, having been told by a dentist that all he would do was complete dentures. A friend told me she was happy with treatments she had received in Nogales. Dr. Mark in Tucson made an appointment for me with Dr. Chavez. Dr. Chavez said that with TLC and treatments he could save my teeth. So after periodontal surgery, bone grafting, three extractions and some partials I'm all set with healthy teeth and I sure I saved a bundle. I'm very happy with the personable, professional care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Chavez and his warm friendly office. It was my best dental experience ever, even with the surgeries. The office is warm, friendly and clean. I plan to return for my cleanings.
