Wisdom Tooth Extraction, Fillings

Dr U was no doubt the best dental experience I have ever had at 59 years old living in the U.S. I was given a written detail/estimate by my FL dentist I had 13 cavities and needed two wisdom teeth extracted totalling around $2800 worth of work. Dr U confirmed my suspicion that some cavities were exaggerated (not actually decay-cavities) and the wisdom teeth needed only fillings, not extracting. I could not afford U.S. prices regardless, as well as the over-cautious premium U.S. dentist charge to remove old amalgam and replace with composite which I had two done. I almost went to Los Algodones but then thought I'd investigate dental services where I wanted to vacation in Puerto Penasco for a dental/vacation combo. It all couldn't have worked out better. Dr U proved to be a huge upside surprise in all respects but especially in creative skills easily doing what FL dentists would not attempt...very location-difficult back-end cavity filling where extracting would have been easier. I wanted my wisdom teeth. Dr U did "the right thing" and saved them without hesitation being they were otherwise healthy teeth. His prices are more than fair, even less than Los Algodones. From now on I'll be doing in-town vacation/dental work at his office when I need to. Great skills, very nice guy!

I was very pleased with the service I received. Dr Ubaldo was very professional and very informative. He took the time to explain my procedure so I fully understood what to expect. His staff was very courteous and office was very clean and modern. Equipment was all top notch and state of the art technology.

Root Canals, Dental Implants, Dental Bridges

In my opinion, Dr Cuadras can not fairly be compared to ANY dentist I have been treated by in the US. Not only are his fees very reasonable, but he also treats his patients like family. This is but one example, I needed a root canal before he could proceed with repairing a tooth that was broken off during Heart surgery in the US. He is not an endodontist. In Mexico many healthcare professionals only accept cash. When he discovered the problem, he asked me if I had $250 cash on hand. Since I typically do not carry much cash when I travel to Mexico I did not. I only had $200. He said, "do not worry, I will loan you the $50 USD and add it to your bill with me." He then contacted the endodontist, closed his practice, and drove me there. Spoke to the dentist, in Spanish of course, and after he completed the root canal, he then drove me back. I waited about 1/2 hour and Dr Cuadras then repaired my broken front tooth. Try that in the US.I have been seeing him for two years and have referred several very satisfied patients to him. So far, three new bridges, two implants and a lot of patience on his part to make my mouth as normal as possible.Even though it is a 6-hour drive for me one-way, I would not even consider seeing another dentist. The amount of respect I have for this man is beyond words. Here represents the best of what a healthcare provider should be.

Concentrates on saving teeth

Teeth Cleaning, Fillings

A cleaning and four fillings so far. Removal and bridgework to come, as ten teeth need to be removed and bridges, etc put in. Dr. Cuadras was concentrating on saving the teeth I have, and using antibiotics to deal with abscesses. Dentists in the States wanted to remove all teeth and put in very expensive implants. Dr. Cuadras is a soft spoken guy who makes certain you understand every step that he does. He recently moved, and is working on his own for now. He was referred by a friend from Mexico, and the trip was worthwhile.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening. Included a full check up, cleaning, consultation, custom trays and whitener, English speaking dentist, as a kid he spent summers in Tucson. All contact with the dentist. One man operation. Great!! would've cost $500 in US. Paid $150 for custom trays and kit. Very accommodating with new equipment and took a same day appointment. The clinic is next to Burger King on main street into Rocky Point.
