I had a very nice visit. They were so nice. I wished the dentists in the USA were as them and not so money hungry!

My second trip to Dentallianz, Matamoros, México, was in December 2014 to get the rest of my dental work done. I had put off most of my dental work so I had 4 teeth that needed crowns, this involved 4 root canals, 4 restorations of those teeth, and 4 crowns. In addition, I needed new dentures, upper and lower partials. Dr Carlos Herrera arranged that I would have all the work done over 3 1/2 days. I must say I was very surprised that I felt very little discomfort after the root canals and restoration work done all in one day. When the lab finished the crowns,Dr Herrera put them on those teeth and we made impressions for the partials.On the 4th day I headed back for Galveston, Texas where I live. Again as with my first visit to Dentillianz, the cost was one-third of what I was quoted in Texas. A very good value.Also Dr Carlos Herrera speaks fluent English & Spanish.A note about traveling to Matamoros, México: I drove to Brownsville, Texas, both trips and left my car in Brownsville [in a parking lot with an attendant for $5 max/day next to the Gateway International Gate]. I walked across the International Bridge [also known as the border] putting coins in turnstiles each direction [$1.00 in Brownsville, 30 cents American coming from Matamoros. The walk takes 10-15 minutes. There are taxis on both sides. I am a 71 year old woman and I had no problem whatsoever. Matamoros city is a beach resort with an interesting city center near Dentallianz. Easy to walk places: taxis available. [P.S. If you have concerns about the border, the US Government has websites, and you can telephone for details in English.] I chose Dentallianz; Matamoros, México; because I wanted to find a dentist in México: I understood that many Canadians and Americans get dental work across the border and save a lot of money. I did a lot of searching on the internet. Also I emailed friends for referrals. Eventually I figured out that Brownsville was probably the closet border town for me to drive to. Then I put in a search for "dentist near the border in Brownsville". Dentallianz came up and I filled out their form online. Before I knew it, I was corresponding with Dr Carlos Herrera. I sent him a scan of my X-ray and he gave me the same information as the dentists did here in Texas. I asked for an estimate and an appointment. Dr Herrera helped me with arrangements. When I got home from my first visit in May 2014, I emailed my family and close friends,"I couldn't have made a better choice".Dentallianz is very clean and modern, and staff is very friendly and efficient. Dr Mario is awesome! He educates, take care of his clients, and executes flawlessly. He is a true specialist and craftsman and does phenomenal work! I just finished my work with him and I have to say he did AMAZING! He is a MASTER at what he does in dentistry! He goes above and beyond and yet takes the time to make you feel comfortable and consistently asks questions to ensure you are on the same page as him! I chose Dental Inc., db biodesign, because they had the highest rating in Matamoros, Mexico. Setting up an appointment was easy-they speak English. They have a shuttle service. They are located 3 blocks from the gateway international bridge. There is a parking garage one block from the bridge on the side of the United States at Adams & 14th st. The area is safe to walk to their office or meet their shuttle one block from the bridge. The work I had done was one bone graft, one gum graft, one tooth pulled, three implants with crowns, four new crowns, three root canals with crowns, four new fillings, and seven replacement fillings. Work was done in a timely manner with minimal pain. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. I highly recomment Dental Inc., db dental biodesign. The dental work was done in late 2021 and early-mid 2022. The cost is approximately 40% of what it would cost in the United States. read more

We travel to Matamoros, Unidental is a wonderful place to take care of your teeth. All the staff are great people my wife had 4 implants, they did a wonderful job and they helped you to understand the process. Most of them speak English very trustable people you will never regret. Im traveling again in October to get mine done. read more
