Welcome.- We are a group of 5 specialists , 5 general practitioners and more than 10 auxiliaries. We have 3 locations and we see about 35 patients a day. Half of them from all over the globe.

These are some of the most frequent required procedures:

-Root canals.- allow 3 days in town. Now the cost is 215 USD

-Crowns or bridges.- stay in town 5 working days. We can do it in less time if needed, but for multiple crowns, allow more time. Each unit cost 250 USD. If done in less than 5 working days, add 50 USD a unit. Porcelain veneers and crowns over Implants cost 350 USD a unit.

-Implants.- for placement of the implant, a minimum of8 days in town. The cost is 1162 USD up to the healing cap. 10 weeks later or longer, we can place the final crown. The crown over an implant is 352 USD plus the cost of the attachment necessary.A good guess for an implant and a crown, all work and materials included is 1720 USD.

-Surgical removal of wisdom teeth are 215 USD each. 1 week in town.

-Periodontal work- 1 to 2 weeks in town. Cost varies according to treatment. A good guess for surgical scaling, bone graft in 4 quadrants (full mouth) is 2510 USD including work and materials

-Removable flexible partials or dentures are 600 USD each. (Upper or lower).it is best to stay 2 weeks in town so we can see you get used to them.

-Teeth whitening costs from 150 to 250 USD. It takes about one hour. Touch up sessions if needed are 70 USD.

-x-rays are 10 USD each, regular cleanings 45 USD and fillings go from 50 USD to 90 USD.

Our average of remakes is 4.5%.You need to have in mind this factor when making your plans.Yes, some patients have to stay longer or make an extra trip when something does not work out right.

Dental Crowns, Fillings

I spent a week in Merida for vacation, and brought my in laws with me for the vacation. As bad luck would have it, my father in law broke his molar biting on a pistachio nut two days before our trip. I looked on a website forum and researched for a reputable dentist to address this emergency situation, and found Dr. Camara. The price was 1/5 the price in the USA. The service was exceptional. Dr. Camara was patient and spent time explaining things to my in laws. I was so impressed with their work that I booked to get two fillings replaced and two loose crowns replaced for me as well. I am usually scared of the pain and usually need laughing gas to get work done, but I felt little pain since the office gave me a couple of pills and a drops to relieve anxiety. Crowns were expedited and replaced in 3 days!!! Additionally I had a gap in my front teeth filled in. I loved the work that was done, and a year later, everything looks and feels great still. Now I want to return there to get some veneers put in too! Very clean clinic. Primarily ex-pats coming to the location in front of the Star Medica Hospital. Alta Brisa location. Classical music keeps the ambiance calm. Dentist and support staff speak English. Love Dr. Javier Camara. My father in law still talks about how impressed he is with the service he received, and comfortable he felt.

Dental Crowns, Dental Bridges

I am a patient of Dr Perla Sornita in Dr Javier's office. I couldn't be more pleased. I had 2 crowns done as well as a bridge. The first session took 3 hours because of my time constraints, but at no time was I even uncomfortable. When I was ready to leave, the freezing was almost totally gone. Dr Perla was extremely efficient, always punctual and very kind. I was very pleased with the results, and the price was quite reasonable compared to what I would have paid in Canada, especially since I don't have insurance. I will certainly be back.

Dental Crowns, Dental Implants

I have been to Dr. Javier several times now. Recently, I broke a front tooth so I am scheduled to go back Monday. I have had extensive dental work, including 15 implants and multiple crowns. Dr. Javier is the kindest, most patient Doctor I have ever encountered. Which is why I will travel to Mexico to see him for major or minor work. I've been so pleased with his staff and with the quality of care. I can not say enough on how professional and helpful they all are. I highly recommend Dr. Javier Camara today as much as I did a few years back when I first found him! Clean, professional, well staffed!

Dentist Consultation

I traveled to Merida to meet Dr. Javier Camara and Associates through recommendations by more than one person. The staff is very kind and friendly. The Establishment is very clean and I was expecting to pay much more than I did. I would recommend Dr Javier to anyone in need of dental! I have already told my entire family. Best tip I can give is to find cheap flights and try Vrbo or Airbnb. I spent more on travel than I did on Dental. Going back in October and will not make the same mistake. Looking forward to seeing Dr Javier and staff again!
