Root Canals, Hygienist Session, Teeth Whitening

I travelled from England to Portugal to have a root canal done. Because the dentist made me feel so comfortable I decided to have a hygienist session, as well as teeth whitening. We completed everything over three days and I felt no pain whatsoever. My overall experience was outstanding. This clinic is superior to any of the places I’ve visited in England. Clinic looked very professional. All the staff were nice and could speak English well. I just liked the atmosphere of the place. Follow up visits were not possible because I went home after the treatment. However, they encouraged me to call if I had any questions or wanted to discuss further treatments. It was unlike any of the usual dentist visits I’ve had. Very happy with the experience.

Root Canals

Everyone was so kind and patient with me...looking after a shaking, crying adult with a phobia and in pain with toothache can't be easy! Had root canal treatment and didn't feel a thing during or after the procedure. Tardy writing this review, but I can't thank the staff and dentists at the Albufeira health institute enough and wanted to tell my story. SUPERB, Highly recommended. If you have a phobia of the dentist, or are afraid and you need dental help....BOOK AN APPOINTMENT NOW....you'll never look back.. 😉 Obrigada AHI team

Excellent friendly staff. Very clean environment and very welcoming. Sophia was great at cleaning my teeth and was very informative on oral hygiene. I would definitely recommend this clinic in Albufeira for any dental work. Affordable as well.

Dentist Consultation

I arrived in Albufeira for a two-month stay and I required a root canal before I left my home country but didn't have time to get it done. After some research, I communicated with the clinic and they were able to schedule me for a root canal within a few days of my arrival in Albufeira. The communication and efficiency on scheduling were amazing. I was informed and felt very comfortable coming into the appointment. On meeting Dr. Gracinda Magalhães and explaining my symptoms, she knew and explained to me my issues and made me feel very comfortable. She performed my root canal, which turned out to be a more complex one (had to drill through my crown and 4 root canals, but did it without breaking my crown which is always a risk). She is an amazing dentist, knowledgeable and caring. Would definitely recommend anyone needed a root canal to see her. Don't hesitate to get treated if the need arises.
