I have a story of dental tourism that will make you think, 'Why doesn't everyone do this?'I had checked the dental clinic online and had seen nothing but excellent reviews. So I went ahead and made an appointment to discuss my options, basically, I wanted a 'Hollywood Smile' and to correct an awful overbite.I arrived on time and met Dr. Kris Kittiphat, the surgery's resident crown/veneer specialist. I told him what I was looking for and we discussed my treatment. Dr. Kris took many photos of my teeth from different angles, x-rayed my mouth and then told me that the surgery could carry out my root canal work immediately.root canal surgery!!!!! This sent shivers down my spine. But I had nothing to worry about as I was introduced to the surgery's expert Dr. Nu, a lovely lady who had the work done in under 2 hours and was completely pain-free!!! I felt absolutely zero pain.Dr. Kris then began the preparation for original teeth to take the veneers and my temporary teeth so I still have a smile before the permanent teeth are fitted. Dr. Kris was assisted by his dental nurses (Ning, Yoon & Norm) who were so pleasant and kind as they could see how nervous I was. And finally, the day came when I had my new teeth fitted. In total, I had 6 crowns and 10 E-Max veneers. The temporary teeth were built all together and fitted snugly like a gum shield. The crowns and veneers were individually fitted and the work was done in under 3 hours.Words fail me when I say that this cosmetic dental surgery team is good. They are beyond brilliant. I have a perfect smile, which is what I wanted and as far as the price, well ask them for as quote as each surgery is different. But this surgery was cheaper than my research found in South Africa, Saudi Arabia (where I work) and my London home. The clinic has an excellent team of experts, a team of caring dental nurses, it's clean and efficient and should I require any further treatment, they will always be my port of call.There are only 5 stars on their scoring scale, I would gladly give them 10. read more

I had a tooth implant to replace a missing bottom right tooth second from the back. The procedure over multiple visits was relatively painless probably due to the skill of the dentist as I heard from others that it can be somewhat painful. I would always get a tooth implant instead of a root canal now because it has a significantly higher success rate and is a much more permanent solution at only a slightly higher cost. I had a root canal on this tooth prior and it lasted a fairly long time but I ultimately had to get an implant anyway. A tooth implant is thus likely much better value and also saves you a complex and painful root canal treatment. I reviewed many clinics on WhatClinic and chose Dental Image Sukhumvit after reviewing Dr. Mantala's qualifications, vast experience, and past patient reviews. The staff at Dental Image are highly professional and a pleasure to deal with. They seem to be contactable 24/7 and always able to schedule or reschedule on request your dental appointments to fit in and minimize disruption to your travel plans, even at short notice. I couldn't be happier with the implant. Dr. Mantala took the time to fully explain every step and I could tell he obviously took great pride in his work. He took the time to ensure the procedure was as painless as possible and the implant was perfectly placed and adjusted. The location of the clinic also ideally located at Phaya Thai Station which is the main station. Since my visit, I have unfortunately broken a different tooth so I will be visiting Dr. Manatala again shortly for another implant. Lucky I now have total confidence in Dr. Mantala's work. Perfect!

One of the best dental in the world. The consultation was free by Dr Attapon (Dr Aum). I was planning to do the veneers with them but they ask me to reconsider my plan. Simple, modern and basic clinic (but i believe with full facilities) and they not pushing people to take their treatments. The treatment was perfect. They ask me what is my idea, and they suggest what the best for me. I cancel my plan to do the less expensive composite veneers and will come again for porcelain veneer. They are small clinics with 2-3 doctors (i think) so they know all bookings there. My doctor was not there when i arrive, but they ask me to meet Dr Attapon and he knows my planning already. And the consultation was free !! read more
