I don't normally leave reviews, but I must write up something to explain my experience for others thinking of visiting Ihlamur Dent for some dental treatment.I contacted Dr Volkan Karabey back in July 2022 just to discover a little more about the surgery and to also get a price. Dr Volkan was super helpful and gave me an estimate during the first few days of communication. This estimate was very close to the final cost (I needed another root canal due to an abscess and infection that my UK dentist didn't even pick up on!)We agreed a date for visiting Istanbul in October 2022 and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions leading up to the surgery regarding the travel and hotel package and Dr Volkan answered everything. This was super helpful for when we arrived, and the trip went very smooth with this information.When I first visited the dental surgery on Saturday, I was very impressed with the decor and cleanliness. I was impressed with the equipment and professionalism of everyone I met. The Saturday was a short appointment for just Xrays and consultation. I returned on the Monday (closed Sunday) for the major part of my treatment and Dr Volkan was there to ensure everything was going well and to inform me of the stages involved. On finishing the teeth shaving, I was fitted with a temporary set of teeth which allowed me to carry on until my Tuesday appointment.On Tuesday I was back for a test fit of my new crowns and they got the style correct first time (although I could have changed anything at this point, I was happy with the first result), I was then fitted with another set of temporary teeth and they looked amazing as they were based on my new crowns and I was very happy, they looked real.On Wednesday I had to return for a root canal, I ended up with 2 due to an abscess but the dentist asked me first if I was ok with 2, she informed me that this will eliminate any future issues, so I went ahead with it. I felt absolutely no pain during that procedure.On Thursday I was back to have the final Zirconia crowns fitted and Ihlamur Dent had adjusted the bite and shape to accommodate my jaw alignment, they fitted and felt perfect, I was over the moon. Dr Volkan also supplied a night guard free of charge, that saved me a lot of money too.I cannot recommend Ihlamur Dent enough, many family members and friends are now seriously considering having work done here due to my perfect experience and a 1/5 of the cost for the same work in the UK. read more
