Dental Crowns, All-on-4 Dental Implants

I don't normally leave reviews, but I must write up something to explain my experience for others thinking of visiting Ihlamur Dent for some dental treatment.I contacted Dr Volkan Karabey back in July 2022 just to discover a little more about the surgery and to also get a price. Dr Volkan was super helpful and gave me an estimate during the first few days of communication. This estimate was very close to the final cost (I needed another root canal due to an abscess and infection that my UK dentist didn't even pick up on!)We agreed a date for visiting Istanbul in October 2022 and as you can imagine, I had a lot of questions leading up to the surgery regarding the travel and hotel package and Dr Volkan answered everything. This was super helpful for when we arrived, and the trip went very smooth with this information.When I first visited the dental surgery on Saturday, I was very impressed with the decor and cleanliness. I was impressed with the equipment and professionalism of everyone I met. The Saturday was a short appointment for just Xrays and consultation. I returned on the Monday (closed Sunday) for the major part of my treatment and Dr Volkan was there to ensure everything was going well and to inform me of the stages involved. On finishing the teeth shaving, I was fitted with a temporary set of teeth which allowed me to carry on until my Tuesday appointment.On Tuesday I was back for a test fit of my new crowns and they got the style correct first time (although I could have changed anything at this point, I was happy with the first result), I was then fitted with another set of temporary teeth and they looked amazing as they were based on my new crowns and I was very happy, they looked real.On Wednesday I had to return for a root canal, I ended up with 2 due to an abscess but the dentist asked me first if I was ok with 2, she informed me that this will eliminate any future issues, so I went ahead with it. I felt absolutely no pain during that procedure.On Thursday I was back to have the final Zirconia crowns fitted and Ihlamur Dent had adjusted the bite and shape to accommodate my jaw alignment, they fitted and felt perfect, I was over the moon. Dr Volkan also supplied a night guard free of charge, that saved me a lot of money too.I cannot recommend Ihlamur Dent enough, many family members and friends are now seriously considering having work done here due to my perfect experience and a 1/5 of the cost for the same work in the UK.

Dental Implants, Dental Crowns

Dr Karabey and his Ihlamur Dent clinic were recommended to me by a close family friend who has had excellent service and experience with the practice.So I decided to follow their advice and reached out to Dr Karabey on WhatsApp from the UK.From them on it was a very professional appraisal, approach, advice and instructions even on WhatsApp.I ended up having 3 implants done at the clinic in Istanbul at a very reasonable cost compared to what a similar procedure would cost in the UK.It is to be followed up with a second and final visit in the next couple of months for the crowns to be put in place.My conclusion is that I cannot recommend Dr Karabey and Ihlamur Dent clinic highly enough on the basis of ease and quality of service, professionalism and costs.

Veneers, Dental Implants

Dr Volkan was fantastic, I was apprehensive about getting veneers and implants done in Turkey. Dr Volkan sent me a complete breakdown of the prices and phoned me to talk through the procedures and answer and questions I had. I felt very at ease chatting to him and decided he was the dentist for me. I spent 5 days in his clinic and at all times he was reassuring and professional. I would highly recommend Dr Volkan and his staff to anyone complimenting on Dental treatment in Turkey

I needed some implants and extractions!I contacted the clinic and had Doctor Volkan directly on the phone, I texted him all my needs and received answers to all my questions (I had so many to ask btw), he was very attentive and didn’t force or push me to do any extra treatment ( which is very different from other clinics I contacted, no direct contact with doctors only consultants), once in the clinic everything has been made easily and professionally, I recommend doctor Volkan because he is a good technician and very understanding! I might post an update in few months after the second visit, where everything will be fixed but for now allgood 👍🏻

Dental Bridges

I don't think there are enough nice words to describe our experience with Dr. Karabey. From the first call to the follow-up visit he answered all of our questions. He really took the time to communicate each step and option of my husband's implants, he received 6 implants from Dr Karabey and was able to go for breakfast the next morning! I highly recommend Ihlamur Dent if you are looking for a personable and professional dental office who will make you feel comfortable with the work you receive!

Dental Crowns

I found Dr.Volkan Karabey not only a wonderful dentist but also a competent one. Unlike other dentists, he put service first for his patients. He cared for my opinions and was willing to listen. He also provides genuine advice according to my dental situation. After much searching around, I couldn't find a NHS dentist where I live in the UK, I was told by a friend that it might be better to have dental treatment in Istanbul, because they can provide good treatment at an affordable price. Now that my husband and I have had our treatments with Dr. Volkan Karabey , we can vouch that he is excellent at what he is doing, giving genuine dental service for people. My husband had his front crown replaced and I had my filling Emax-onlay done. Both treatments were completed within 4 days. We both were very satisfied with the results, especially my husband, as he felt that Dr. Volkan was honest and very keen on helping people to resolve their dental problems. We are both very grateful finding a dentist like him, very grateful indeed. We certainly will go back to him if any dental issues arise.

I have visited Dr Volkan twice now both times for dental implants and I must say that he is very professional and very thorough in his work he listens to his patients and their wishes and works with them.I had minimal pain both times after the procedures and minimal swelling I recovered and healed very quickly Dr Volkan explained everything very carefully about the aftercare and how to clean the implants et.I have recommended him to all my friends and family and if in the near future I need any other dental work done then I will be visiting him again 😊

All-on-4 Dental Implants

I went to Ihlamur Dent for all on 4. After being picked up from our hotel by a wonderful dental nurse, she took us a short distance to the clinic. I was very impressed with what I saw. All high tec and spotlessly clean. Everyone made me instantly feel at ease. I had a 2D scan and was told I had lost a lot of bone in my upper jaw. I was then taken for a 3D scan. After the doctors examined the scan in depth with me, they then told me I could still go ahead with the implants but would need 6 in the top jaw to hold the permanent teeth, This made me happy.I am a very nervous patient but I can honestly say after having the local Anaesthetic I did not feel any pain from the procedure. Yes there was some discomfort that evening, but with the painkillers, antibiotics and small ice packs, it did not last long. I have been given temporary dentures for now and have to go back at the end of January for my permanent teeth. I am so glad I chose this clinic and would definitely recommend it, they were kind, considerate, understanding and very professional.
