Contacted Green Dentist for an urgent appointment for a painful Wisdom tooth. After an examination and x-ray the tooth needed to be removed but there was a shadow underneath. The Dentist referred me to Noel Perkins an expert in this field. The diagnosis was to remove the tooth and what was causing the shadow. This took place at another appointment The procedure took an hour, upon return to home I experienced no pain, discomfort or bleeding. The stitches were removed the next week with no adverse effect. Very happy with the procedure.
My dentist gave me a choice of several implant services when my old implant became problematic. They recommended Green Dental but it is one and half hour drive away from my home; but I thought, it will be worth it. What a good decision that was, because the proof is in the result . At consultation, Mr Noel Perkins’ mild manner, professionalism and clear communication regarding my dental condition, gave me the confidence in putting my dental treatment in his care. Together we discussed and agreed on the treatment plan.During the implant process, Mr Perkins ensured I understood clearly what would be expected at every stage. He and his assistant Jane worked together seamlessly which is very reassuring. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep at times during the procedures.Everything was done patiently and meticulously. The dental surgery room was bright, airy and clean. Post-surgical procedure care was good, in that I received phone calls from the practice on behalf of Mr Perkins inquiring about my condition. Also, Mr Perkins gave me his personal contact details in case I may need to seek his advice at any time. Most of all, I got what I needed - brand new strong teeth that restore my health and smile. Excellent treatment when I had my implant. I was worried about choosing a dentist for implants and I was extremely lucky my Dentist suggested Noel Perkins.I was treated with professionalism by Noel and his team. All stages of treatment were clearly explained. Noel was happy to answer any questions and concerns. Him and his team were fantastic. They kept me calm through the whole process and always seemed pleased to see you. When the tooth was taken out and later replaced with an implant it was so clean and sterilised you knew there would be no risk of infection. The colour of the implant is a perfect match to my other teeth. I now feel happy and confident to laugh and smile again. Absolutely delighted with the end result.
I have just had 2 tooth implants. It was uncomfortable at times, but Noel was reassuring and gave constant information. I am very happy with the final result; it feels like they have been in place all the time. I would strongly recommend Noel.
I was referred to Noel Perkins by my dentist when the crown on my implant broke. Noel explained fully what was involved and invited questions on anything I was unsure about. We had one or two hiccups along the way however Noel was very reassuring and I am delighted with the result.Jane, the dental nurse who assists Noel, is wonderful. Kind, compassionate and very engaging. I really appreciated her support.
As a result of bad dentistry, I was at a point where chewing became the priority. Composite build-ups in 2002, by my general dentist, constantly required replacing. After two failed, expensive, restorative attempts by an orthodontist I was eventually referred to Paul Grimshaw at a Leicester practice. The lengthy consultation with Paul resulted in a detailed treatment plan which described composite build-ups of upper and lower premolar to premolar teeth, a specialised splint to wear at night (I grind) and a cobalt chrome partial denture. (I admit to seeking 2 second opinions both of whom redirected me to specialist Paul in 2021)Extensive pre-operative prep:ImagingMichigan splint use for several months to ensure stable jaw positionDiagnostic wax-upsMock-up of proposed composite build upsTreatment began in July 2022 by which time my teeth were worn, broken, dangerously sharp and painful with exposed dentine. My build-ups were completed in April 2023 comprising of 18 hours in the chair over 2 days after which Paul was scrupulous with subsequent tweaking, polishing etc.Paul relocated to Milnthorpe and I elected to follow him for continuity of care. There have been countless visits to include the construction of a protective Michigan splint and a fabulous cobalt chrome denture for missing lower molars.I cannot recommend Paul highly enough. He is an expert in his field, generous with time, meticulous in practice with keen attention to detail. A caring professional gentleman in whom I trust.Paul's colleagues at Green Dental also deserve credit for efficient professionalism, respect, genuine care and smiles.Although the estimated cost of treatment initially seemed exorbitant it was justified by the result. I now have a fully functional set of teeth!! They also look really cool too.
After an accident and losing my front tooth it took me a few months to make the decision to go ahead with an implant a) my age b) the cost! However, vanity won and Paul Grimshaw was so reassuring and supportive throughout the procedure which did seem to take a long time, seven months in all. The team who looked after me were so kind and caring. The end result is well worth it and I would certainly recommend Green Dental and Paul Grimshaw to others.
I have just completed my final Implant treatment today, and I am delighted with the results from start to finish. My initial concerns were I would need to have a plate or 2 false teeth on some form of the bridge or another device. This was something I was not willing to accept and I was reassured by Noel Perkins my surgeon throughout all my procedures that with some reconstruction work e.g. bone graft to my jaw bone an implant would be a viable option. I know it may seem a bit daunting but let me just say the whole process was totally pain-free and I was able to drive home after every session. There are many stages leading to the final result but it is meticulously precision and planning that ensures the result. Using all the very latest technology I was particularly impressed with the oral scanner that took unbelievable pictures of inside my mouth showing precise locations for my front teeth which allowed technicians to make my implants truly amazing, my new teeth feel better or just as good as my normal teeth felt and I am very happy. If you considering dental implants I would certainly recommend Green Dental in Milnthorpe and Noel Perkins in particular, all the staff are super friendly and welcoming just simply Google them and get in touch you won’t be disappointed.
I was referred to Noel by my regular dentist, after losing one of my front teeth. From the first consultation, right the way through the process. His gentle and reassuring manner kept me at ease. I was given a detailed treatment plan and description of what was involved. At no point did I regret my decision to have an implant and now I have a confident smile.
At the age of 13 when I broke a tooth playing Rugby, no gum shields in those days! Almost 60 years on I had to bite the bullet as it were. Noel and his wonderful very professional colleagues worked their magic. From our first consultation I felt totally confident that I'd been referred to the correct Surgeon. The amount, quality of care and concern for my wellbeing was outstanding. Initially I thought that the quotation was very high but after all the numerous x-rays, scans, ultra sounds, photographs, detailed explanations, extractions and bone grafts replacing missing jaw areas to strengthen and enable the implants to be fitted. Not just implants. in total: 2 implants 6 caps and associated work, bridge to replace the original missing tooth etc, etc, all this over the last 12 months. It continues, I've just had my first of 3 follow up checks. £12,500 well spent. Thank you Noel, Jane and all staff at green Dental
