I’ve been incredibly phobic of the dentist since a bad extraction over 10 years ago. And Somerhill was my first experience post this. Richard was so calm and understanding he explained everything clearly and reassured me we could take as many breaks as needed. I have trouble breathing through my nose so this was incredibly helpful. I’d highly recommend this practice. The staff are incredible and the nurses are professional, highly skilled and so friendly A big thank you to everyone x

"Have had an Onlay fitted to one of my Molars"

Have had an Onlay fitted to one of my Molars - it was private treatment but after much deliberation and advice, I decided this was the best option and am very pleased. I am normally an NHS patient at the surgery and have always received excellent treatment. I did not feel any pain at all (never have at this surgery) and all questions I asked were answered thoroughly. Clare McCoy is an excellent dentist and the staff are very friendly. I have been using the surgery for around 20 years and have never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend this dental surgery.

I have been a patient of Dr.Emmanuel in Portslade Dental centre for the past 12 years. a lot of major work was done to my teeth from crowns to bridges to tooth extractions he goes into details of explaining the treatment and in all areas job well done once I had my wisdom tooth removed even that wasn't difficult to him. The practice it self is new and clean all the time, very modernly decorated, the staff is helpful and offer free parking

Receptionist was helpful with suggestions if the dentist is booked and busy. Arash Jafari, the dentist who treated me, explains procedures carefully and checks that I am comfortable with everything. All round a much better service than I received previously in London who were very good but not as good as this practice in Bexhill.

"A very calm, careful and extremely knowledgeable Endodontist"

I had a consultation regarding root canal. I like the way the Endodontist listened carefully to what I had to say. He was very thorough in checking my gums, nerve sensitivity, the opening and closing of my jaws, and he reviewed the scan of my tooth and explained how far the nerve travels within the canals. He correctly suggested there might be two nerves in one of the canals. What was even better was he used large scale tooth models to explain implants and bridges. Superb service from Steve Williams, a very calm, careful and extremely knowledgable Endodontist. I was booked in extremely quickly despite notbeing registered with Perlan. The receptionist were very helpful and efficient.

Excellent Professional treatment given with a very human heart! I was given an immediate appointment on arrival from the street for recementing a fallen cantilever bridge for two implants and extra tooth. The weather as appalling outside, heavy rain, but the warmth of the clinic changed my mood.Everything was clearly explained, choices offered and open to discussion;Left feeling good and with a recemented cantilever bridge. Can't be bad!!All the staff were friendly, welcoming with a good sense of humor.The dentist is a great Communicator, good to talk with and extremely competent. Excellent value for money.

The receptionists are absolutely amazing and so very understanding to me as a very very frightened patient. The dentist who initially upset me did her very level best for me and was extremely kind. I thank her sincerely for taking all my pain away and for saving my tooth. She had been very verbally abused by a couple of previous patients whilst I sat in the surgery and to be honest I felt it was very unfair and unjustified she was trying her best in very difficult circumstances. She gave me continued pain relief each time I flinched without me asking and for that, I was eternally grateful.
