Dental Implants

I recently transferred to this practice and I’m very pleased I did. My dentist Vinny carefully outlined all of my options and answered all of my questions so that I felt confident about opting for an implant. I had treatment at the Cardiff and Llanthewy Rd clinics and the reception and dental staff in both are friendly and courteous. I thoroughly recommend this practice!

x rays root canal work Excellent treatment and painless. Have been coming here for approx. 15 years and would not go to any other practice. Staff are always very helpful and reassuring and it is very clean and hygienic. I was happy with the price I was quoted.

Dentist Consultation

I have been on this planet just shy of 50 years, and have met many dentists in my time. Today I met a new dentist, Mays. I found her quiet, yet down to earth professionalism refreshing, and I was touched by her constant concern for my welfare. The words “pleasant experience” and “dentist” rarely appear in the same sentence, however today they did.I have found every member of staff at Cox and Hitchcock to be professional, and courteous, and the site is spotless. I would recommend this dental surgery to anyone, as I feel safe and well cared for whenever I have visited.

I transferred to this practice as my previous dentist closed. Having received poor treatment for many years I was faced with loose teeth, bleeding gums and pain when brushing, not to mention how embarrassed I felt with the look of my teeth. I started having treatment repairing the damage with Gabriella who told me it would take a while to get my gums in a good state for the next stage, and she did just that. I then started the cosmetic treatment with Vinney. It was a daunting thought to have nearly all my crowns removed, an implant put in and my gums lasered but the treatment was almost pain free. I want to thank Gabriella and Vinney for changing my life. I look in the mirror and smile and feel so happy that I am not in pain anymore but most of all I am not ashamed to speak to people or smile for family photos. I am so happy I became a patient of Cox and Hitchcock, I would recommend anyone needing a dentist to go to them you will not regret it.

After years of battling some pretty horrendous childhood traumatic experiences at the dentist, I worked up the courage to go. Every single person from the reception team, nurse & dentist (Erny Patel) made me feel so calm, at no point did anyone make me feel “silly” for being so scared. I can’t thank the team enough for the care and compassion they showed me. It’s really helped me shift my mindset towards the dentist.

I have had dental implants and treatment from Dave over a number of years, he tells you exactly how it is, then gives you the price it will cost and leaves the decision to you.The work that I had done was excellent.Dave and all his staff are exceptional, always go that little bit extra to make you feel a valued client and I would highly recommend them to any potential clients looking for a brilliant dentist.

Extractions, Root Canals

I really think this is the best dental practise in the country. The staff are always reassuring and polite. I've been seeing David Cox for 20 years now and I can honestly say he's never ever caused any pain, his injections are painless as are his fillings. I've had 3 extractions again no pain at all. My latest visit was for root canal work, ah ha I thought would this be painful? No didn't feel a thing. All I can say is dont ever be afraid of seeing anyone at this practise. I cant praise them enough. Thanks Dave and team.
