Very surprised how at ease the dentist & nurse made me feel. We both had to leave our usual dentist as it had shut down. After being with a dentist for many years it’s a bit worrying finding a new one. Both my husband & I were very pleased with our choice. We especially like the dentist for explaining going forward he will do a dental plan & explain our procedures. My husband has trouble with lower dentures he can’t wear them. With the Blue Raven Dentist he has given my husband an idea how he can make them fit in future. Treatment is yet to start it will be after Christmas. Yes I would definitely recommend them as apart from my initial inquiry I broke a crown before my first appointment! Anyway I needn't have worried as they took care of this for me on my visit too and I left, the same day, with a great looking Cerec Crown which they milled for me on the premises then and there! Amazing! They also spent a long time making sure it matched my other teeth. I was really impressed with their professionalism and will be returning to have further cosmetic treatment with them as I feel very confident in their ability based on my recent experience. read more

Excellent had to have two teeth out and chose sedation. Staff lovely and the dentist really put me, a very nervous patient, completely at ease. Fast, efficient, lovely experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this dentist to anyone who has a real fear. I haven't finished my treatment, but I am not terrified at the thought of the next lot of session. read more

I have been a patient since June 2018. I arrived very nervous and embarrassed about my teeth . I was put at ease by Nina who came highly recommended by my own dentist .My teeth were a product of the 70s dentistry and had become more jumbled over the years, causing so many gum infections that I was in danger of losing them .Nina came up with a treatment plan , she was reassuring and confident that my teeth could become untangled !I had braces top and later bottom , teeth removed to make room for movement all the while Nina and her nursing staff were kind and concerned for my well being . I also had a very long gum which Nina also corrected for me without surgery - something i had previously been told was not possible.I was introduced to karon the amazing hygienist who kept my teeth in check with advice and guidance.All my appointments were confirmed by the lovely Sarah who was always so warm, friendly and helpful along with the lovely reception team who were brilliant at getting me appointments that fitted around my work schedule.My treatment with Nina came to an end and my teeth were perfectly straight for the first time ever and Nina had to give me exercises in how to smile - all previous photos of me I have my hand over my mouth !I have just had composite bonding and a crown replaced by Farhad, both himself and Nina were meticulous in their work and only happy with the best possible out come for me . I cannot say how happy I am with my treatment and results. The sandford are a modern practise with the latest technology and are lovely, friendly and helpful . one of the best decisions I have ever made and money so well spent for a result I did not think possible . read more

After my last inexperienced private dentist, Mr Bonthuys seemed like a professor of dentistry. He recommended a partial denture of a different design to the inadequate one sold to me elsewhere. After some adjustment, the fit is perfect and comfortable and made from high-quality material. Neither ''super expensive'' or cheap. I wanted it made up to a standard not down to a price. The service was empathetic with clinical excellence. A combination my previous dentist failed to provide. read more

My wife and I have been patients at Kent Smile Studio in Walderslade for several years. We have received friendly and sympathetic attention for whatever treatment we required, either routine examinations or particular problems. We can thoroughly recommend the practice for the attitude of the staff no matter what the pressures on their time and for the exemplary skill with which they solve problems. We live close to the practice and consider ourselves so lucky to be near such an excellent practice. I've only just started my treatment there. I'm having a complete set of dentures made. To start with he has made an impression from my teeth and will do a full in mouth impression when I go on Thursday 4th August for my next appointment The dentist rang personally, he sounded friendly and spoke confidently about what he thought he could do for me. He is also local. The surgery is bright clean and comfortable. The furnishings are homely and the house - which is a large Victorian/Edwardian terrace has many original features. The dentist explained everything - pros and cons - of my mouth and just what I can expect of the teeth he'll make for me. He takes time and care. My appointment lasted an hour. His prices are very middle of the price range I expected. read more
