PRICE LIST

The NHS price list has been simplifiedsince April 2006.

Prices for treatments under the NHS willdepend on which of 3 bands the items on your course of treatment fall under.

There are 3 Bands:

EXAMPLE 1

A patient requires an examination andx-ray. This patient’s course of treatment falls into Band 1 and they pay £17.00

EXAMPLE 2

A patient requires an examination, an x-rayand a simple filling. This patient’s course of treatment falls into band 2 andthey pay £47.00. If the patient required more than 1 filling on a course oftreatment they would still only pay £47.00

EXAMPLE 3

A patient requires an examination, an x-rayand a crown or denture. This patient’s course of treatment falls into Band 3and they pay £204.00.

Patients are able to mix treatment optionsand have NHS and private work under the same course of treatment. Detailedestimates giving all the options available will always be given to the patient.
