Mikael qualified at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden in 1998. He has had dental training both in the US, UK and Scandinavia. Mikael has worked in a Dental Implant Centre and in a Dental Clinic for General Anaesthesia. Mikael is accredited with the Denplan Excel Quality Programme and he is currently the only dentist in Plymouth who is accredited to use the Enlighten whitening system. His special dental interests are dental implantology, restorative and cosmetic dentistry and treating nervous or phobic patients.

Mikael has completed the course Certificate of Medical Reporting: Civil Procedure Rules Part 35. This means that he is certified to do dental examinations on trauma injuries and accidents and write the reports for the Court.
