Hygienist Session

I recently had an appointment with the Hygienist at this surgery. I was not impressed the appointment was for 30 minutes but only had 25 minute session. I was rather nervous the hygienist did not try to help or relax me in any way and just said I could go to the hospital for the same service if I wanted. She did not fully introduce herself. Her patient skills on making me feel at ease were some what lacking. It was a long time since I had seen a Hygienist. I also do not agree with paying up front in a months advance for the appointment, it makes it very difficult for the customer to then complain about the service as the money has already been taken. In my view not a good service. I will not be using this Hygienist again. Overall I do feel the Dentist that I saw was professional and was pleased with his initial service its a shame I can not say the same about the Hygienist and feels this lets the surgery down.
