Dr Darshan Shukla is now the dentist at the Selsdon Dental Surgery and like Mr Mooi, his predecessor, provides excellent service. I recently had the caps on my front four teeth removed and replaced with new ones. The whole process was carried out without any pain and with full information throughout. I am really pleased with my new caps and I can smile without worrying about how my teeth look!

I met Mr Mooi over 40 years ago when he was starting up in Croydon and have consulted him ever since. I always found him to be considerate and efficient and his work has stood the test of time. On the (thankfully) few times since retiring, I have always gone to his Selsdon practice to get my problem sorted.

Owing to my complete phobia concerning dentists I hadn’t visited one for many years but circumstances forced the issue. I attended the surgery, explained what I was feeling and through much patience, understanding and calmness from both Mr Mooi and his equally understanding dental nurse the treatment was completed. I won’t ever be a fan of dentists but this experience has renewed some faith in me and I would return.

I have received treatment from Dr. Mooi at this practice for over twenty years. I had a bad experience with a previous dentist, but Dr. Mooi has built my trust and confidence in him to know that I will be fine. Mr. Mooi has given me the emergency treatment on several occasions, even when I have just turned up at the practice without an appointment, he has never turned me away. I have had root fillings, bridges and implants and all treatment given have been a positive experience. I dread the day Mr. Mooi retires but would like him to know how grateful I am for everything he has done for me. All of the nurses and receptionists are very helpful and friendly.
