I have been a patient of Sunny Kaushal's for many years after being recommended to him from a previous surgery. I am not the easiest of patients as I am very nervous of the dentist and struggle with panic attacks. I had a very well informed and thorough consultation with him where I was able to ask lots of questions and ask his advice on what was the best treatment for me. This resulted in me having two implants and a bridge fitted, as over the years I had lost several teeth at the back of my mouth.Three years ago I was due to get married and was devastated to find that a crown at the front of my mouth that I had done by a previous dentist years ago had broken off and fractured which meant nothing could be done to fix it permanently other than to have an implant. I went to Sunny again and he started the procedure of me having another implant. It took a few months as they do need to allow for gum shrinkage and healing before the actual tooth is finally fitted to the implant. It was actually two days before I got married that I had my final appointment. Sunny was due to go on holiday and had been fully booked, but he came in and opened his surgery especially for me to make sure that my implant was fitted before my wedding ! My experience is that I would never trust anyone other than Sunny to do my implants. He is a perfectionist and is extremely experienced in his field. Only today I have had another disaster and the crown on the other side of my mouth at the front has fractured. I was left with a big gap at the front. I rang Emma (who is also lovely and extremely helpful) and they got me an appointment within an hour. I knew the crown would not be able to go on permanently again, but Sunny worked his magic and managed to secure it on temporarily for me. I was so grateful that he could do this for me and again he stayed over to do this. I am now going down the route of having my 4th implant with him ! Only had an assessment at this stage - awaiting for email outlining work and cost. A verbal quote was given - but not set in stone - which for me is a bit pricey - bet £2.5 and £3.5k to be found ! read more
