Dermatologist Consultation

I've had a problem with persistent dandruff which hasn't responded to standard treatments. The Doctor listened to me describing my problem, examined me and then prescribed a topical corticosteroid. The clinic is well situated for the City at Cannon Street, and was clean and well presented. Unfortunately they were let down by their customer service. When I arrived the receptionist asked me to sit down and then she forgot about me. It was only when another receptionist asked me what time my appointment was (20 minutes ago) that I was seen by the doctor rapidly (about 25 minutes late).

Acne Treatment

I started my Acne treatment in the London Dermatology Clinic in October. Before starting the treatment I had mild to severe acne all over my face. This had decreased my self-esteem and I was covering my face with tons of makeup daily. I wanted to get rid of my acne asap however through NHS I had to wait a couple of months in order to see a dermatologist. So, I decided to go private. I called the London Dermatology Clinic for an appointment and I got to see the dermatologist on the same day of the booking. The dermatologists Dr. Anton and Dr. Nassar, the nurse and the reception staff made me feel very comfortable and they were really lovely, nice and really welcoming. They are really professional and efficient. They answered all of my questions and explained the course of the treatment really well, including the pricing, side effects, the dos and don’ts etc. The doctors and the team made sure that I had a safe treatment with regular checks and reassurance. So, I started my acne treatment within the week of seeing the dermatologist as I had to wait for the blood results to come out. It’s been 7 months now that I have been on acne medication and my skin just looks amazing! I do not even have one pimple on my face. My friends and colleagues always say that my skin glows. It's flawless and that the transformation is a miracle!My experience at this clinic has been amazing and I am really happy with the results!

Yes it wasn' t bad, had to wait a while 20 mins procedure was quick but the price was not as same as I had seen online.

Thank you for your feedback. We do mention on our pricing page the starting prices 'from' and in bold print that the price depends on the area of the body to be operated on and complexity of procedure. This is again confirmed by our advisor's when calling. We welcome your feedback and will look at ways to clarify this further to avoid confusion.

I was quoted £499 by the surgeon for the removal of my cyst. I am very pleased with the results. I was seen on time and the procedure was explained to me by the surgeon and any questions I had were answered. I was somewhat nervous prior to the procedure being carried but was amazed that the procedure itself was virtually pain free!!!! The surgeon is fantastic! I'm definitely coming back again as I have another cyst that needs to be removed and since my first cyst removal procedure was brilliant no doubt the second one will be too. I would recommend this clinic if someone is looking for a clinic which is transparent in their prices and puts patients first. The price for my procedure was very modest compared to other clinics as I did shop around first.

I had a basal cell carcinoma on the side of my jaw. At something approaching five months after referral by my GP, I'd attended two appointments via the NHS, but had progressed no further than a confirmation of my own diagnosis. During this time, the BCC continued to grow and I became more concerned about the delay, particularly as I'm on immunosuppressant drugs for arthritis. I began researching private clinics and settled on the London Dermatology Clinic. I chose the London Dermatology Clinic on the basis of ready access, good reviews, experienced surgeons and favorable charges relative to other private options I considered. The clinic responded quickly to my initial inquiry and I was able to book an appointment within four working days. On arrival, the receptionist was welcoming and helpful and the clinic had a pleasant waiting area. I was seen promptly by Dr. Ponniah and very soon briefed on what could be done and how much it would cost. I opted to have the BCC removed immediately and Dr. Ponniah carried out the task efficiently, taking care to minimize the impact of scarring. Post surgery, I was given a detailed briefing on aftercare. My only wish is that I'd gone to this clinic five months earlier.

Mole Removal

Cyst and mole removal I have always suffered from skin problems, however have never trusted most clinics with their skill,especially as most of the lesions were on my face. Adult acne left my face with 2 sebaceous cysts which really were really affecting my confidence and I had been looking to get them removed for a while. After extensive research I booked an appointment with this clinic and the dermatologist consultant diagnosed my cysts promptly. The dermatologist then referred me to the clinic's surgeon who removed my cysts within the same appointment. The results are absolutely amazing. I am so glad I researched extensively because I made the right decision to go with this clinic. Really pleased and would really recommend this clinic. Big thanks to the team at the London Dermatology Clinic for giving me my confidence back!

Scar has virtually faded away after cyst removal

I was nervous about going under the knife because my cyst was on my cheek and in a prominent part of my face. I was recommended the cannon street clinic and I am very pleased with the plastic surgeon I saw. My scar has virtually faded away so I will not hesitate to recommend this place but the price was not cheap and wish it would be more affordable -although the £499 i paid was a lot less than the £850 a private GP quoted me! The Clinic had a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and courteous. They answered any questions I had, they made me feel very welcome. There was array of magazines and newspapers to read whilst waiting. I would definitely recommend this Clinic to others.

My daughter had a sebaceous cyst on her shoulder which had been growing slowly over a number of years. It had become very important to her to have it removed, so I researched clinics and found London Dermatology to be very friendly and efficient and made the appointment.I wanted to research the doctor who would carry out the treatment so made another call to the lovely receptionist and she told me Dr Tripathi. The clinic was very easy to find. We parked in a nearby NCP in Lower Thames Street. The welcome was friendly and the waiting room was busy but warm and welcoming and clean. The treatment on the sebaceous cyst was quick, but thorough with before and after photos taken. Two stitches and 20 mins later it was all over! I would thoroughly recommend this clinic. The nursing and reception staff are kind and the Dr Trpathi was friendly and efficient. Altogether an excellent experience.
