I had a cyst removed from my arm. It was causing me a lot of bother and seemed to get caught on my clothes all the time and often bled. I payed £449 which was great value for money as I was quoted over a thousand pounds at another clinic on the same street. Excellent service, booked in extremely quickly and cyst was removed on the same day. Props to the dermatologist for making it almost painless. I would certainly return for further cyst removals or any other surgery here if any more pop up (hopefully they wont!)

The worst experience I've had so far. I've had acne for 8 years and has now gotten to the point that it is making me feel so down. I had an appointment booked for 12.40 and did not get seen until 2:25. When I was finally seen, the doctor spoke to me for 5 minutes, didn't even look at my skin at all and gave me two options for treatment. She then told me I had to get two blood tests done and overall it would cost me £700, which is for the consultation and the blood tests. I was then told that the place I had to go to round the corner from the clinic to get the blood tests done was open until 6, we got there and they told us that they closed at 1 which was engraved in the wall next to the door. We went back and asked for our money back as the experience overall was just awful. We was given back £500 of the £700 as we still had to pay £200 for the consultation which took all of 5 minutes. The consultation wasn't even worth my time let alone £200. Overall, I left my appointment lacking confidence and feeling completely knocked down. Save your money and time and find somewhere else.

Removal of a 40x20mm Lypoma. The removal was optional, as this kind of tumour is usually considered as benign and is not normally removed under the NHS unless it causes problems due to location, size or is painful. The charge was £700 and the the clinic waived the £165 consultation fee if the treatment was done the same day. I felt that this was pretty good value. I recently discovered that I had a large fatty mass over my left shoulder blade while undergoing physiotherapy for a shoulder problem. My physio recommended that I get it checked, so I set up an appointment with Dr Charakida, and was seen the following week. Dr Charakida and her nurse were superb, giving prompt reassurance and a clear diagnosis of a large Lypoma. Dr Charakida gave me the option to either leave it alone or have it removed - there was no pressure to have treatment.I opted to have it removed, and after a short painless thirty minute procedure, everything was complete. I was given clear instructions for after care, and everything was done with care for my well being.

I was suffering from a skin fungal infection which was also causing my eczema to flare -- prior to coming to the London Dermatology clinic, I had visited my GP over 6 times for treatments, all not successful. I was feeling so down about my skin, I thought there would be no cure and i'd be stuck with this horrible infection. I googled dermatology clinics in London, and this clinic was the first to pop up so I went for it. I would highly recommend going - i was seen to very quickly, and the doctor knew exactly what was wrong with me and within 10 mins I was out the door with my prescription. The doctor was so helpful in answering any questions i had, and I felt at ease.

I am really pleased with this clinic. I would really recommend it to all my family and friends. The customer service was excellent even before the clinic- as a patient you are allocated a patient liaison officer called Sarah who helped me so much. Then at the clinic, the appointment was on time and the dermatologist Dr Askari was really knowledgeable. The staff are all lovely and the location, excellent. Very good clinic - really would recommend!

Mole Removal

Good service for mole removal. After no small amount of searching for removal of my daughter's nose mole, many clinics refused to remove a mole from a 15-year-old, or advised waiting, or for some reason won't do it. London Dermatology did the job quickly and efficiently. It did cost a bit more compared to some, at £499, but after the frustration of a long search, any excess was worth it.

Birthmark Removal

First impressions aren’t good, but you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Receptionist for the collective group of clinics wasn’t exactly welcoming. She was sitting in her coat and needed to finish her text messages before acknowledging my presence.However, the actual clinic was quite simply excellent. After an initial consultation, and diagnosis, you are seen by another member of the team to discuss the cost of the treatment required. Considering that my own GP didn’t take things as seriously as they should of, I was offered an immediate removal of a cyst that looked ‘suspicious’ 30 minutes later I was on my way home, cyst removed and though there’s a wait to see if it’s cancerous, it know I’ve now got a fighting chance having had it removed quickly. The Dr was great - honest as you’d expected and very skilled at the removal. Yes, it cost money to do so quickly, but the earliest NHS appointment would have bet October.
