I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I will always be thankful to them for my procedure and for being such excellent hosts.I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother.Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results.I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous. read more

I came from Finland for surgery with the doctor. As the surgery would be 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in in my own home country. I visited the doctor and he examined me and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's do it, and just take my money! Overall the doctor was very professional and I could see that he had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and it felt I could trust him. More than that the doctor’s assistant is amazing, speaks very good English, and provided clear and informed communication along the process. Very thankful for their efforts. read more

Professional, open, honest and caring. Excellent service. I was a little concerned about being in a different country and not knowing what to expect. The Dr and her team operate out of the main hospital, which is modern and well equipped.Had the lens replaced in one eye and laser on the other eye done by the NHS which had signs of protein buildup. Less than a week and my eyesight is excellent. Don’t wait too long as I did, and suffer when you can have this done at a fraction of the price. Ideally, flight out Sunday and return Friday, gives the team time to run tests, do the surgery and then a checkup before you leave. read more

I had eye laser surgery in Cagin Eye Hospital last summer. One of my friend in my hometown suggested this hospital and after a little research, I decided to try and be examined by Kursat Cagin, MD. Who is an experienced doctor and also owner of Cagin Eye Hospital. Everything about the Cagin Eye Hospital is very calming. I was so scared before the surgery. Dr. Cagin put my mind at rest as soon as I entered the operation room. I needn’t have worried at all. The procedure wasn’t scary in the slightest and the results are amazing. I’ve always hated my glasses and the surgery really has changed my life. I think everyone should get it done. Cagin Eye Hospital is really hygienic and has modern technology. I felt secure and relaxed after I had been into the hospital. After the operation, I stayed in a hotel nearby the hospital. The hospital paid all the charges for me.
