I would like to thank Dr. Derda Ozer for my surgery and follow-up appointment, as well as Hassan and Zainab from the MDO team. I am especially grateful to Hassan, who served as my host, translating everything for me and taking care of me throughout the process—from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. I will always be thankful to them for my procedure and for being such excellent hosts.I was well taken care of by Dr. Derda Ozer, and the hospital was well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities. My surgery went well, and on the same day, I was transferred to my hotel. The following day, I had a follow-up appointment. Hassan took me on a tour of Istanbul, visiting Aya Sofya, the Sultanahmet area, and the Blue Mosque. I am very thankful to him for being a great host; he speaks excellent English, explains everything clearly, and is a genuinely positive person, and treated me like an older brother.Regarding my surgery, everything went according to plan like we talked about before my visit. As for the results, I am partially satisfied and still recovering, waiting for the final outcome related to my squint eye. I remain in communication with the MDO team and have been advised to give it three months, as recovery times can vary. I may consider future courses of action later on. If I achieve an 80% correction of my squint, I will be very happy. After my surgery, my eye still shows a slight deviation, and the size of my operated eye is still smaller than that of the other eye. Overall, I am satisfied with the surgery and remain hopeful for the best results.I would definitely recommend MDO, as they are a genuine clinic, and the hospital they use for surgeries has all the necessary facilities and is based in Istanbul. They are a trustworthy company that takes great care of their patients, and without a doubt, they are neither fake nor fraudulent. The staff and team are very honest and generous.

I had lens replacement. The hospital was so clean, the doctor was so polite, talked me through everything. He had to do tests, pre-op and operation. He never kept me waiting. His work was 10/10. The staff were lovely. I looked around for a bit to find the best eye surgeon in Turkey and believe me, I found him. His work was skilfully precise and bang on. If you want the best, trust me, go with Dr. Derda Saglik — he's the best. His ratings and reviews say it all for him, and now I’m saying it all firsthand. I had a lens replacement surgery. It was a great and pleasant experience, and all the health consultants who assisted and supported me from start to finish were amazing. I will particularly mention Hassan, he was excellent as my consultant and interpreter and deserved a 5-star. My Doctor and surgeon, Dr Derda Ozer, was a brilliant and professional doctor and made me very comfortable before and after the surgery. He provided me all the information required and test pre- and post-surgery. The Trifocal and EMV lens replacement surgery IOL itself went very well without any problems at all. The Doctor was amazing with a lot of experience, and I was happy with the process and surgery itself. It was a great value for the amount I paid, and I chose the MDO health clinic because of their great reviews and track record of success from previous patients and My consultant, Hassan, was amazing in providing all the information I needed before making my decision to go with the clinic. My Clinic was the BHT clinic, which was a huge clinic and very clean and had all the state-of-the-art equipment and experts and specialists, and my Doctor Derda, was one of their best. Therefore, I will recommend him. I am now recovering, and my brain is still getting used to my new lenses since it's only just 2 weeks since the surgery.

I had lens replacement surgery with Associate Professor of ophthalmology Dr Derda Oder at BHT clinic in Istanbul. From the initial contact with him to the end he was very down to earth, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I had researched and contacted many surgeons. He suggested lenses that would be suitable for each eye and on examining me when I got there, decided one eye needed a different lens which was £150 less. He immediately informed me. He is an excellent surgeon and Hasan, his lovely, capable interpreter was there for me at all times. All the staff are very professional and attentive. The surgery went well and the aftercare was very good. On my last visit, Dr Derda said to contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns, gave me lifetime lens passports and told me any time I was in Turkey I was to come and have a free assessment. Dr Derda is also very well priced and I’m absolutely thrilled to throw away glasses that I’ve been wearing for many decades. I highly recommend Dr Derda and his team.
